One of my favourite places to eat in Victoria. Excellent friendly service. Delicious rolls and rice bowls. Very fresh seafood. Amazing Bento box deals and lunch specials.

The workers here are good people, so I did not make 1star. The sushi was good in Canada before.
Because sushi craftsmen were learning sushi in Japan. And they grew up eating real sushi in Japan.

This is my go to place. By far the best sushi in Victoria! The staff are very friendly. I eat here all the time and have never been let down. It's absolutely amazing!

This is the best sushi ever. Had smoked salmon that melted in my mouth. All fish super fresh. Steak sauce the bomb. A hidden gem.

Horrible service from one of our waitresses, she was rude! She had our orders incorrect, threw the napkins on the table (my friend asked for them very politely), spilled the water because she was serving it rudely, etc! We still gave the restaurant tips as we know there were other people who worked so we could have our dinner. Shame on her! Ruined our night! We didn't have the heart to leave the place as we had already placed a lot of orders. Shame on her! I loved the place, I was telling people how good it is, but after what we experienced tonight, definitely not going back there anymore!

Shizen is the best sushi in the city hands down. Wow! The staff is awesome and friendly and they even remembered my name. The food was exquisite, fresh and reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend!

Best sushi in Victoria hands down! Also probably our favourite date restaurant! We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here too. They have always been totally awesome. The staff are super. The good is awesome. I grew up having sushi in Vancouver and this restaurant has the same quality as the best I've had in Vancouver.
