Great place and crowd, especially for university students. Day specials are priced fairly. Really liked he previous coppertank, the new one just doesn't have the same vibe.

Came in tonight before the fireworks, Nachos were a huge portion for $16 and the beer was your standards but it was cheap. However the best part was our server Melissa. She was hilarious and dealt with the drunk kids in our group like a champ. Will be back cause she's awesome 👍🏻

Had a great experience here on Saturday afternoon, Melissa is fantastic!! A large group of us visited for our semi-annual get together. From the moment we arrived Melissa took great care of us. Our group arrived in stages and were spread out around the bar as it is so big. Melissa dealt with all of us in a friendly and welcoming manner. I can imagine it was quite daunting for her to deal with a large number of groups on her own but she did until additional staff arrived. I'm sure many of the group will be visiting as individuals in the future due to the great service that they received. Thank you once again Melissa for taking care of us!! Food was good too and great value in drinks specials.

Went early on a Friday night for a couple beers and some appetizers. Good beer! That's about it. The server seemed disinterested in us as soon as we sat down, and it soon became clear why. She spent the entire time we were there heavily, heavily flirting with the cowboy hat wearing bartender. Classy. The wings were over cooked and flavourless, the sliders featured raw onions that dominated the flavour. I'm sure they were past their sell-by date. Yam fries were alright but lacked salt.

In short, we won't be back.

For Urban Rec players, show your tag and you get a discount. Otherwise, staff and service was great. The food was surprisingly good for pub fare. Casual place. Good for big groups. Would come again.

Decent food and decent drinks. A nice place to enjoy some drinks with friends and would definetly come back in the future. No complaints but nothing was really outstanding.

The chicken strips and nachos are fantastic. Double vodka and sodas are only $6.50! The owner is a little weird but seems well liked by everyone.

I went there for trivia night. Their trivia topics were really unimpressive. The food was quite plain. The waitress doing the trivia decided to portray Colombia as a country of serial killers and where she regrets to have been to and where she recommended never to go to. Although I am sorry to hear that she had a bad experience, her language and the way she justified her statements clearly tells me that is she is not qualified to run an activity where you are supposed to prove your wisdom. I will never go back and I will not recommend anyone to ever go there.

My experience at the Coppertank was pretty good. They have lots of space for big groups, which is great. Food and drinks were good, but service was really slow (but we were there around peak time). Their music was excessively loud - I could barely talk to my friends sitting across the table from me. I enjoyed my night here, but there wasn't anything that would draw me back again.
