Great atmosphere and food was decent. My drink was also excellent and not watered down like most places do these days. Service and price were awesome too.

Very different vibe in this Cactus club. Less touristy than the one in Coal Harbour, and less pedestrian than the one on Broadway. More modern in decor and dimmer (but in a good way). Same food which is pretty consistent throughout the chain. Standout for me is the chicken lettuce wrap which is almost a meal in itself. Was disappointed with the calamari though - a bit soggy and chewy.

Went here for Happy Hour, the drink specials are excellent. I though the food specials on the other hand were a little small for the price. My advice is to order a proper meal. The food on the main menu is very good but also slightly pricey but it is Yaletown after all. They have a great patio that is very lively and has heaters and a big panel of glass around the area to keep it nice and warm at night.

My Aunt, my Mom and myself came up to Vancouver last week for a girls trip with one for-sure thing on our itinerary being every night of our stay would be spent at Happy Hour at the Cactus Club for the best Peach Bellinis and dry ribs. My Aunt became a loyal customer after enjoying the combination during the several years she lived in Vancouver. The first evening, the staff at the Davie location sat us at a corner table out on the patio without hesitation and with a smile. Great start to an enjoyable evening of conversation and people watching. Our second evening we asked if we could please sit at that same table again. The hostess Allison absolutely would not let us sit at the same table as the night before because she said it sits eight (it was set for seven) and that we "were only three". We told her the staff sat us there the night before with no problem. Allison's response was short and clipped, her tone and demeanor no longer inviting. Allison then also let us know she would be changing the policy so that only large parties could sit at that particular table. After this exchange, Allison then tucked us in a corner table set for six. In the hour or so we were there, the other table remained empty. Despite our brief and chilly interaction with Allison, which somewhat dampened our evening at Cactus Club, the food, drinks and wait staff were still fantastic. The next couple of nights were still spent at a Cactus Club, they just weren't at the Davie location.

On Thursday 5/18, my sister, her daughter and myself returned to the Davies St Cactus Club for our second night in a row as we enjoyed ourselves so much the first night. The previous night we were seated on the patio (a table that had 6 chairs). We enjoyed the scenery and the atmosphere there. When we arrived on the second night, Allison was our hostess to seat us and we requested the same table. She refused to seat us there as she could seat 8 people If a party that large arrived. So she sat us at the opposite table that had 6 chairs which was approx the size table we wanted to sit at, however it was more in a corner and crowed by the people seating at the next table. We mentioned that they should have a protocol that was followed every day so people would not be disappointed when they want to sit in the same place. Allison stated she was going to make that the standard protocol fro here on out. She was really quite rude. While we were there, no one was seated at the table. We would have been happy to have moved tables had a large party arrived. Allison put a damper on the entire evening with her attitude and smugness that she was in charge. I will say that the drinks, ribs and service was very good, however Allison pretty much ruined it for us. This was the second year that we went to the Davies St Cactus Club and would have been there for four nights in a row, however the treatment Allison gave us, we ventured out and visited two other Cactus Clubs in which we enjoyed our selves immensely. Future visits to Vancouver will not include visits to the Davies St Cactus Club.

Great food and service, sat in the patio, even though it was winter it's well heated you won't even need a jacket.

Really well executed food. I got a butternut squash ravioli that was cooked perfectly in a delicious sauce.

We are regulars at the Cactus chain. Always good food. Vegetarian and vegan food available. There is no "kids" menu here but the chicken and fries work just fine for the little pick eaters. The kale salad is one of our favs so nice to see a restaurant taking a stand against yet another boaring version of Cesar and doing something different. I also really enjoy the fish tacos and their veggie burger.
