This place rocks if you want to make different Asian Cuisine this is where we pick up our leaks and there is a good deal on their flat of eggs too and a variety of different dried mushrooms and other plants to make interesting cuisine as well as unique cooking utensils for the cuisine
Great place for some Asian snacks and groceries if your near downtown. After they did some renovations it definetly looks better.
Never disappoints me this place. The food options are fantastic and the sales get better as the evening goes on as they discount the hot food. Finding a good Portuguese Tart has been surprisingly hard in Vancouver and I never thought to check T&The but they have them and do them very well.
Neat Asian foods that are unavailable elsewhere. Mochi selection is pretty good. Live seafood seems questionably sourced and kept. I would not recommend getting live seafood here. Better for drinks, bakery and snacks.
A large variety of seafood, Asian products, fruits and vegetables, noodles and dessert. Friendly and informed staff. Be mindful that the meat and the seafood might not always be the freshest.
Has that distinctive smell of Asia: dried cod, fresh fish, etc. Excellent selection but a lot of things only come in large quantities so it's a challenge if you don't know what you like. The staff is very nice despite subtle or overt language barriers. There is also hot and cold ready-made meals at the entrance. Also some western diet staples like white bread, peanut butter, and sugar. Excellent bakery with lots of professionally made tarts and cakes.
Shopped weekly there when I lived downtown. The wide range of Asian vegetables and fruits, the soft and fluffy baked delicacies, the fresh fish and the piping hot Chinese delicacies were the main attractions. As you can see there were too many to keep us away for too long. The affordable rates for quality chicken, pork and beef was an added incentive. Always got my weekly groceries here when I lived downtown.
Good selection of Asian groceries and produce. The staff, especially the cashiers, are always great. Prices are slightly lower on most items compared to most other grocery stores. For more western goods like quality bread and cheese you may want to shop elsewhere.
Staff here are friendly, the store is spacious and was not crowded during my visit. The guy at the meat counter was helpful and offered advice on meat selections. Great service. I was able to take my time and had no trouble pushing a stroller around the store.
There is no elevator access to the store from the underground parking and lacked signage at the entrance. However, there was an escalator coming down. I had to make two trips, carry my baby and car seat up the stairs and then the stroller.
Great place for all your Asian food needs. Great prices on seafood and meat compared to most other local grocery stores. Many more seafood options then other grocery stores.
Great place to pick up a quick bite and some exotic ingredients. Their lunch counter always has great deals on grab and go meals.
Great place for Asian stuffs. Unfortunately the staff not really know much about other common Western items. I saw a guy come in to find Apple sauce and the staff took him to a hot sauce aisle and told him they only have banana sauce (which is a cooking sauce)
With new renovations, this store is even more of a gem now. Good quality of meat, lots of produce and tons of unique items you won't find anywhere else. Hot food section, cold food (sushi!) and even bubble-tea for only $2.99! I usually come for "just hot dog buns" and walk away with bags full of groceries.
This oriental supermarket has so many great foods, we could've easily blown our Vancouver travel budget on this one place alone. Tons of fresh baked items make this a must stop on your travels if you're in the area. Definitely get some baked pork buns!
