I found the packaging of the sushi a bit misleading.
I know, I should have known by the weighy of the package, or could have looked closely, but filling space with the soy sauce pack, then covering the area with the label also semed a bit shady.
The wasabi was a bit watery and soaked with juice from the ginger which led to a funky taste.
Great selection of South Korean goods. Excellent produce although staff members seem tired.
Wow this place is expensive At easily 2-3 times the price of tnt for some items. More Korean items available for sure, but I wonder why the high price..
I am so disappointed. I am spending a lot of money in this store. I had filled up all the royalty stamps and ask the customer service if I can pick up the noodle box later and she said yes.
I went to pick it up tonight after shopping there but the manager arrogantly denied that. It is not about $10 noodle, but they are not honoring the clients, very bad customer service, she was very rude.
I would not shop there anymore. For fresh seafood, I would go to T&T.
I love H-Mart. It's an incredible place with reasonable prices, a lovely food court and an Exchange ATM (if you use HSBC, or a credit union, you can use it for free). I enjoy shopping here a lot. There are also lots of Asian beauty products that my girlfriend loves.
I come here for korean + Japanese groceries - namely fish, kimchi, green onions, and prepackaged korean side dishes.
For everything else, I usually go to superstore/T&T/Osaka Super Market.
Pro Tip: best to take transit; only pay parking is available
Korean supermarket with a variety of Asian foods. Lots of good stuff from fresh seafood, hot pot meat, instant ramen, seaweed, drinks, and snacks.
There's a good food court upstairs hidden at the back.
Impressively, H-Mart is a Korean supermarket included a mini food court. Plenty and variety of Korean groceries and ingredients are written in Korean and some in English. Some staff can’t speak English. At the food court, the food stalls have good reasonable prices.
Great variety of Korean merchandise and food items. However, that "x% off regular price" advertisement that they put on every sign is usually not a deal. There are super deals occasionally, but if you shop here, make sure you are informed on what really is a deal. If you are here for the convenience of having to buy Korean groceries from one stop, then this is the place to go!
H-Mart is awesome. This is a great H-Mart location that has a big variety of different Korean groceries. It's located right in downtown Vancouver surrounded by delicious restaurants. The staff that work here are super friendly, and always have a smile on whenever I have been in the store at least. If you are craving Korean snacks, definitely stop by here.
All about the kimbap and the cheap but tasty Korean foodcourt.
There's plenty of asian groceries, mostly korean food but still easy to access. They even give away some free samples of their product, especially korean ramens. I like this place.
Pretty good supermarket, with nice selection of Asian food and some restaurants on the 2nd floor.
Great location, right in the corner. Asian products of top quality. However
Amazing place. As a Korean, I appreciate these kinds of shopping marts, which have variety stocks, nice Korean restaurants with reasonable price. I will visit here frequently.
