Absolute joke. I'm pretty sure it's a front for smuggling. I went in to buy a new file valve for my toilet, and literally every single valve they had, had its packaging opened. I checked the one I bought to make sure all parts were there, but good lord, why open all these boxes if you're not trying to get something else in there? Smallest hardware store I've ever seen in my life, d-

Knowledgeable staff, but the location is small.
The selection for items is not the best compare to some of the large sized home renovation stores around.

In spite of other customers' good feeling, I do not like this Rona at kingsway. They're not as professional as home depot. Last time I bought a Makita circular saw here, it worked only two minutes on my jobsite, then when i came back to exchange it, they tried to show me it is good, just do not push when i cut wood, f*k, from then on that saw has been stayed in my garage corner for almost two years now.

some of them even don't have a good service attitude.

Despite what others say, I found the staff to be busy, but knowledgeable. Sure, a few cashiers are not savvy, but you'd be surprised at who knows what. I've been going there for over 5 years and yes, it's got a smaller selection and higher prices, but it's so close to home (E Van) that it's not worth the extra 30+ minutes to go to Home Despot. Owner/manager is a grump with poor interpersonal skills, but I haven't seen him recently.

Worst customer service ever! No hyperbole. I went in to find a replacement shower cartridge and when nobody offered to help i went up to the counter. I show an older Asian gentleman (didn't get his name) the part and he simply points to an item hanging on the shelf behind the cashier. When I asked to see it the only words that came out of his mouth were "You know you will have to pay for it don't you?" What? What the hell does that mean? How is that at all responsive to my quest to find the right part? Will never set foot in that store again. The staff is ill-trained and knowledgeable about nothing.

Contrast to Home Depot where the fellow looked at my part and actually swapped out some springs and washers - NO CHARGE - and suggested that might save me the cost of the new part.
