OUR BEAUTIFUL GERMAN SHEPHERD is DEAD! even though we asked for cremation. . I had to call to find out they threw him away. Then the comment was made.what about the bill it hasn't been paid. Then they said they would call us back and ya you guessed itthey never did.

DO NOT GO HERE! I'm VERY disappointed with the state and treatment of this place. I was here the other day taking my cat in for an ingrown nail fixing. When the doctor entered the room and I tried to explain what had happened (she's polydactyl so it's not a normal nail) he didn't listen and proceeded to drag my cat across the table as if she were just a chuck of meat (First strike). Before I had the chance to show him the nail he immediately jumped to the conclusion it was infected (Second Strike). He then proceed to grab normal nail clippers and tried to clip (again, she's polydactly, it's NOT a normal nail. Third Strike). I was then told she had to be sedated so they could fix this nail. I should've listened to my gut and listened to the 3 strikes your out, but I didn't. I let them take her and came back 3 hours later. I was allowed to go to the back and collect her, so I did. The sanitation is this place, well, there might as well be none! I was literally 3 feet away from a dog being operated on where I could see countless flies buzzing around the body. I was horrified at this point and just wanted to go home. I grabbed my cat and immediately noticed that, yes they fixed her nail, but they made no effort to clean her paw. It was covered in dried/fresh blood. I scooped her up and hightailed it out of there. I have never seen her so terrified before. She now refuses to leave the carrier. I am GREATLY UPSET at the treatment they have here and I DO NOT recommend it. I normally don't leave reviews, but this crossed the line for me.

My two dogs have had a total of nine surgeries at this hospital. They get in lots of trouble with raccoons coyotes and the like. The service has been consistent high quality and although this is not that important, at a fair price.

Wouldn't trust my dog to them again.
Newton Animal Hospital is Eons ahead in knowledge, service, cleanliness, and care for my dog.
Dr. Pavitar wounded the inside of my dog's ear cleaning it out with a metal scraper, and made her yelp and cry. Two weeks later she still has a scrape deep inside her ear canal that bothers her.
It seems all they care is charging money than taking the time to care for your best friend.
    Never again.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS HOSPITAL! THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!

We took out dog here just for a check up because our dog seemed a little bit sick. They kept convincing us that our dog is severely sick and needs to stay a couple of nights. I don't know why I didn't do this sooner but I have a cousin in Alberta that is a veterinarian and said my dog just had a minor sickness that he could easily recover on his own. DO NOT GO HERE, IT IS A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY AND TIME!

I'm a vet tech from another hospital, at the other end of lower mainland. My dog broke off a nail & bleeding could not be stopped. I was right by this hospital, so took her in.
I am amazed by Dr Bajwa's kindness & professionalism. They were quite busy, but still found the time to patch up my dog. Such a kind & funny vet! Kind staff.
They are open at all hours & are fully stocked with prescription foods & products. 👍

HORRIBLE PLACE - DO NOT GO THERE. Staff and doctor had attitude. mistreated and harshly touched my kitten making him cry. Shaved my kitten for vaccination left her without food/water/litter in a cage overnight. There was nothing wrong but charged me $300. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY, THEY SLAUGHTER ANIMALS. Doctors even had their licences taken away. YOUR PET CAN WAIT A DAY DO NOT TAKE IT THERE.

I took my dog to this vet and the staff were friendly and professional. The vet diagnosed and treated Buster's ear infection with some drops I had to use. My dog is happy as can be now. I was impressed by a follow up call from the vet and by how much the staff cared for me and my dog. The Hospital was clean and the service was quick. I highly recommend this practice and will be back!

Terrible experience, no compassion for animals. Very rough with our dog, poor bedside manner. Took our dog in for a checkup. Vet gave her a quick glance and it was over with. Ended up taking her to a different vet where she got a very thorough checkup. Avoid.

Overall had as good an experience as possible for an emergency situation. The vet was a little bit gruff at first but for what he lacked in customer service skills he made up for in knowledge. You just have to make sure you ask questions.

The assistants were very kind with me and my dog they allowed me to come visit her when I needed to. The admin staff made life super easy for my pet insurance. They are overall a great but not quite five stars since they could have kept the place tidier.

Yeah this place is a joke. I know it's rare to find a vet that will help with a payment plan but was suggested to try before having to surrender my dog because he was peeing blood and now has a blockage and his bladder may rupture over night.

Who ever the lady was that answered should be fired. Not a single ounce of compassion in her voice as I'm crying my eyes out. In the middle of me explaining to her what's wrong she cuts me of and says how much money you have now. While I'm still crying I explain to her everything and cuts me off again and says we don't do payment plans. She was extremely rude and not an ounce of compassion in her voice at all. It actually didn't sound like she cares about animals at all by the tone in her voice.

Wish there was a way I could have recorded it and attach it to this rating.

I got my cat 4 years ago from a rescue center. He became ill so I phoned the center and they referred me Dr. Pete at Surrey Animal hospital.
He was diagnosed with Pancreatitis which is very serious and often fatal.
Dr. Pete wasted no time diagnosing him and  giving the proper treatment. He then prescribed a proper diet. I was told by the center that my cat would need steroid shots for his eyes but Dr. Pete gave him an antihistamine that cleared them up. All this was done with great compassion.
My cat goes in every six months for his allergy shot and we are always
greeted with warm smiles and an extremely low bill!
Thank you Dr. Pete and thank you to your wonderful staff.

Dr.Peter is amazing! We drove over an hour to see him through a recommendation by my mom and it was well worth the drive . He was honest , caring and didn't charge me an arm and a leg plus my first born. He showed compassion and was gentle with our dog 😊
