I felt ripped off after seeing the room. The price of this place indicates it’s a pretty nice hotel, so I was shocked to see the gross hairs in the tub, the tub itself needed to be thrown out. Just brutal. The coffee maker was broken, the room was so minimalistic that I had to try and make coffee on the floor (before I realized it was broken) because they don’t even have it set up by an outlet or on a table. Outlets are an issue in the rooms and I’m not sure what they mean by “renovation” but the place looks like a dive hotel. The breakfast was the worst I’ve seen at a hotel, I would never return or recommend.

PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE HERE!! felt like I was playing some mind puzzle game, like you needed to pass a test before entering the hotel. The lobby guy working when we checked in was nice, the one working the grave yard shift was rude though.
The beds and pillows are so soft. Loved them! The free breakfast was good, room was clean and a pretty decent size. But then tragedy struck in the form of sugar. First the coffee maker was not plugged in so had to move it around the room to find a plug in and once we did there was no sugar, actually there was empty, opened packages of sugar in it but no filled ones. Then began the great hunt for room service lady to get bloody sugar.
Is a really nice hotel if the parking was better and decent staff then would be an amazing place.

we booked 3 rooms through the phone and verified the rate for that evening.
we chose the hotel for the pool amenities that we were never informed was closed because it never did pass the inspection. the kids that were with us on that trip was looking forward to having to use the pool. they got so upset due to that reason but were never given any resolution. upon checking out, the hotel agm Rebecca lied in my face when i asked her if the final price was with my corp discount (which i made sure that was noted upon checking in and was noted as per receptionist). she said that the discount was from my corp. i made her check to make sure and when she realized she made a mistake, no apologies were heard from her. i still never did get my corp discount.

Best value of you're looking for bedroom suite in Grande Prairie for around $150. Breakfast was lame though, nothing healthy. Really liked the suite overall though.

The rooms were tidy and neat and many things were already supplied. It was like a home away from home

I slept on the cot which was ok except there were no extra blankets in the room. Apparently a cleaning lady went home with the keys to the linen room. Worst sleep of my life.

kandace had a very terrible attitude towards me from the moment I checked. Even when I went down there and asked for shaving cream. She was very rude and didn't seem like she wanted to help a customer.

There are some positives. Friendly staff. Welcoming lobby. Pool with slide and hot tub. Hot and cold breakfast. Close to Canadian Tire, Safeway, and other shopping venues.
It is apparently an old hotel. There'll be no sneaking down the hallways 😊 (Maybe old wood floors under the carpets.)
The bathroom fan and toilet flush are loud.
However being old and unclean are separate entities. It clearly has not been painted in the rooms in years. Needs a good detailing. Some repairs needed.
A bonus is the suite has a separate bedroom. That's a nice feature. The sofa is older looking but it's a spot to rest upon.
Lovely little kitchen set up with fridge and microwave. Single cup coffee machine. Tea towel, dishcloth, and dish soap. Coffee and tea. Paper cups.
This could be a sweet spot to stop given some tlc.
