My mother was interested in perusing what SUBARU has to offer by way of new vehicles. The salesman was gracious, friendly and generous with his time. There was no pressure to buy, buy, BUY, which is awesome.
The cars are great and if anyone's on the market for a new car, be sure to drop by Subaru of Saskatoon.
Edited: While the sale process was effortless I have come into problems since then. I have moved to Alberta and when going to do regular service updates I was unable to answer questions on what maintenance had been done previously on my vehicle. When I reached out Subaru of Saskatoon for the service records for my car they refused to release them. They sited privacy reasons which is understandable so I asked them to transfer it to the dealership where I am having the work done. They refused to do that as well. The dealership I am working with currently is also a Subaru dealership and says this is unusual.
I am very disappointed in their lack of transparency and I am worried I may have bought a lemon and they aren't wanting me to know about the lack of service by the previous owners.
Original review:
Got an Outback from them. All the staff were super helpful and have checked in since to make sure I am still happy with it. I wasn't looking forward to going to a dealership but they made it easy!
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was looking for a new car and I asked sales person if he can tread my 2012 corolla then I will buy WRX. After 30 min Waiting he come up with 4500 dollar offer I was completely shocked because I bought that car a year ago from toyota dealership for 12600. I refused his offer and walk out. After 3 months I bought ford mustang from Merlin Ford and they paid 8500 dollar for my same corolla and give me a best deal on my new car as well.
After reading some of the reviews in this page I see some similar experiences that I share as well with every Subaru dealership I've dealt with. It seems that when you need them for service they are well under what other dealerships do, but when you want to buy a new car they treat you like a king. Right now my dad is asking me how I feel about Subaru because he wants a new car. I say some are good cars but terrible at service, chance it if you dare and you may fall into a similar experience.

Had great service experience up until they washed my car. My car went in with of course a few rock chips on the hood and came out with a 4 in x 1.5 in paint strip on the hood. The service manager/staff thought it would be appropriate to do a botch cover up with touch up paint. I didn't initially see the damage they did until I got to my mother -in-law's place. I called the service manager back immediately telling him this was unacceptable. He took pictures the next day and emailed them to the owner of Subaru of Saskatoon. Just over a month later I still had not heard what the owner was going to do about this damage and I called back inquiring. The service manager acted surprised and told me he tried contacting me which was a lie because 1) I have caller ID and 2) I have voicemail. He informed me that the owner said because there were existing rock chips seen in the photos that Subaru would not be repairing the paint. Needless to say I am not stopping here. The survey emailed me by Subaru specifically asked if the service staff did a walk around my car before and after servicethey did not. If the owner is so quick to decide that he won't cover the cost of the damages because of existing rock chips on the hood of my car, his staff should have also been knowledgeable to not wash my car, which was done without my permission and the service staff fella even told me he warned the car wash attendant to be careful, then they shouldn't have washed my car. Needless to say I am not stopping here. My car should have gone in and came out looking the same.
I recently purchased a new vehicle from this dealership, and had a really pleasant experience. We visited there 4 times as we were making up our minds, and every time the sales staff were very accommodating. There was no pressure, and we could spend all the time we needed with the vehicles as we narrowed our decision. Quy was open to being contacted at any time, and even stayed late on more than one occasion. When we picked our new vehicle up Brian took the time to go through the vehicle with us to ensure we knew about all features and functions. All of the paperwork was filled in quickly, and Audra was very friendly throughout the process. It was a very easy, stress-free experience.
Would never want to deal with this dealership again. had a problem with #4 rod bearing letting go at 30,000 km. well known issue with Subaru's. was maintained perfectly and was still well within the warranty period. Saskatoon Dealership was trying anything possible to void my warranty. After months of arguing with staff/owner I decided to have the engine built by a different shop. The owner then contacts me claiming he will give me 2 years of warranty on the new engine or a replacement short block. if I am able to provide the last 4 oil/oil filter receipts. after providing said information the owner will not answer my calls/text messages and is "unable to receive your call" when trying to get through the secretary. after 3 months of trying to contact him he finally returns a message saying "after looking at your file there is nothing we can do for you".. I paid $1200.00 in towing bills to get the car from Battleford to Saskatoon.. DO NOT WASTE TIME ON THIS DEALERSHIP head to Regina instead. over the 7 dealerships I have had to deal with in my lifetime this is my far the worst. would not recommend to my worst enemies.

Please don't bring your car here to be fixed unless you have warranty or something. Just like most dealerships they try and get you to pay for things that don't need to be fixed. The parts are extremely overpriced. I calculated on some parts the mark up is as high as almost 300% over buying the same part elsewhere. They also charged me for an hour of labour and they didn't even fix my car, I have no idea what they did to charge me an hour for. They did wash my car, however it wasnt very clean. I can't get over how overpriced and expensive it is there, especially for the poor quality of service recieved. The previous time I went there they quoted me almost $10,000 for a stock engine swap. I ended up doing it myself for $1,800.
Best customer service. Quy, Shirley, Christian all three were really helpful and treated us really well. Great job guys.
Purchased a 2017 Outback from Quy Tran this weekend. While I don't typically enjoy dealing with car dealerships, Quy and his team were exceptional in every way. Highly recommended. I look forward to seeing everyone at my next service appointment!
Just bought a Subaru Forester! I worked with Quy Tran and he was super helpful. In fact, the entire team was. They were very patient and Quy even went the extra mile to pick up my summer tires (traded my old car in) and accompanied me to the registration office to help set up a new license plate. Overall, it was a very worthwhile experience and I would recommend this dealership to anyone.
