Had an evening out with the wife few nights ago. Buffet was pretty good for what you pay for. My partner order a drink that she did not like, bartender switched free of charge. Only reason not a 5 star rating was not enough live table games or poker room

Much better than the river rock !!! Friendly, no hassles. Not 98% Asian cliental. No money laundering, mainly English speaking cliental. I'm not racist at all, born and raised in Richmond. The feeling of not being welcome because someone is white or doesn't speak Chinese in a city that raised me, I will make the stance. Remember the good old days of the casino being across from the sky line hotel That was fun!! Not the Rock. I'll be back Starlight with my friends.

Very bad customer service from an employee at the buffet named Maria. Rude and condescending attitude toward me and my family. Embarrassed me in front of everyone in line when she blurted out loud my debit card is decline whereas it was their system's error that the transaction was not completed. She was not even sincere with her apology and more rude in saying it after asked her not to repeat the words declined in front of other people. She called security saying I was yelling at her where as I was just making a point that her demenor is embarrassing myself and my complanions. Security clearly sided with me after they assessed the situation and apologized in her behalf.

The waitress and waiters are so busy in their own business, so that every time u needed them u have to find them and very slow services, they're not dedicated to their job, and the bar tender he's a white guy he's very rude, I was asking him for a water and not really busy that night in a bar, but unfortunately he was telling me we're not serving water here. Then he was walked out he's very rude. So which mean the service in Starlight are so sucks and lowsi

I met an old friend for lunch and to try out my luck on the slots. My friend suggested that I get an Encore card as I'd never had one. The lady that helped me was so friendly (and funny) and had me set up with free slots and other discounts in no time. She noticed my birthday was only two days away, and wished me very good birthday luck!
Well it worked! I won right off the bat. We gambled a while longer, then we had the buffet lunch. The buffet was not the greatest, so you may want to eat at one of their other venues.
All in all it was a great day, we gambled, giggled like school girls when we won, and reminisced the afternoon away.response / report this review -

A pretty decent casino. They have the usual selection of table games, slot machines and also a good poker room. Their poker tournaments are varied enough to be interesting. Wait staff are friendly and you can watch a variety of sports events on their TVs. Parking is readily available and the casino is very close to multiple good restaurants and an excellent strip mall is just a block away.

Good casino, has live music some days which is really fun. DJ was very accommodating took requests. People are friendly and polite. Had good experience at the restaurants. I might go back again. Very colourful and bright.

Very tight Variety of slots has improved but chances of winning has gone the opposite. Definitely greater chances of having a good night south of the border

Oh boy, Nicole and I had some really great times here. The staff is very friendly, and since we were new to the area, they gave us many recommendations for places in the Vancouver area. Match was good when we went for cheap wing night. I most definitely miss living just down the street from starlight

Great dim sum and dinner place. Weekend will be very busy during lunch time. Suggest to make reservation.
Food quality is great. One if the best in town.
While it wont break your wallet it is a slightly more high end dim sum place where the price reflects the quality.
Expect to pay a little bit more but still affordable dim sum.response / report this review
