Clean beautiful designer hotel and casino.
Staff is great and food is wonderful.
Tried the kimchi burger and pad Thai. Both were excellent, although I wouldn't say the Pad Thai was truly authentic.
Architecturally rich and lots to look at. A central lounge area is great for meeting with friends.response / report this review -

Beautiful complex. Had dinner at BC Kitchen and the buffalo cauliflower was one of the best things I've eaten in ages - absolutely delicious. My salad was pretty good, but the calamari was a bit disappointing. Our server was lovely as well. Overall a very enjoyable meal.

Gorgeous! The Douglas Hotel (located next to the casino) features a DJ & hotel lobby party every Fri and Sat night. It’s the best kept secret in Vancouver. The entire complex is still working out it’s kinks.. but it’s gorgeous, friendly, swanky, charming and designed with local elements.. exactly what Vancouver’s needs.

Beautiful, clean and spacious. They have a great selection of tables, minimum bets around $15. I went with some friends who play slots, and they were happy with the selection of slots as well.

Very nice casino place and hotel. It is in Downtown Vancouver, connected to BC place. It is very spacious with many restaurant available. They have some slot machines with curve screen, and some machines with very comfortable seats with full back and head rest. The hotel side still has some areas under construction.

Weirdest vibe, like the last bit of the 90s leftover, including the ruins of the once-legendary concert/rave venue Plaza of Nations. They'll be demolishing it soon because they built a new facility down the street.

Good place to let your self relax. Relieve some stress. As long as you understand the money you spend is about the entertainment your there experiencing you will have a fun time and maybe you'll even win something.
The staff are there to help you and are curtious and more than not people oriented so the service is unusually some of tbe better in the lower mainland.
Go, enjoy, just remember go there expecting to lose your there paying to have entertainment thru use of the games. If you win all the better. To use one of their lines. "Know your limit, play with in it." If you break even and enjoy your time is it money well spent? And if you win, WOW. Definitely you've had some fun. Awful service. The slot attendant are so crazy for their reserve signs as if it was made of gold. The food is beyond describing. Attached is a picture I took of their almost $17 red Thai curry. Half of the meal was oil. I could not eat it and I could not take it back as they will give me attitude as usual.

It's one of the smaller casinos in the city and doesn't offer much selection in slots. It is also a one level playing area. The view of False Creek and Science World is beautiful though!

Visiting Vancouver from the US and it wasn't bad here. This place seemed to pay out pretty good. The staff were very friendly. The underground parking was very convenient too.

It's a friendly place, all the staff are very nice. SometD's you have to wait for a while on a waitress to come around and there have been times when my drink order was forgotten. It's a great place to gamble. The machines pay out regularly. There is a bar but it's very small and there is no live music or a dance floor. There is a restaurant that serves really good food that also offers a buffet style lunch and dinner. Every morning starting a 6 am they have a breakfast special for $4 and its enough food to fill you up. All and all its a decent place to go gamble but that's about it. Thanks.

Quite a small casino. Heaps of pokies machines and blackjack tables. Wasn't too busy when we visited at 7pm on Friday night. Staff were nice and helpful. Bit hard to get to on foot. Signage inside wasn't great for first time visitors

Staffs are nice in general, just not a best atmosphere in Vancouver. Lots of poker tables which is great! Best food deal is the $6 lunch Chinese Rice Bowl from 12-3PM. Call an hour before if you want to play poker.

The place looks like an abandoned factory, but that I couldn't care less. If you're interested in poker, this is not the place for you. Never in my life have I seen a poker room this poorly ran, and I have travelled quite a lot. They would rather have waiting lists of 60+ than to have dealers on standby. I was astonished when I went there for the first time and saw tons of empty table and a double digit waiting list. I had never seen this.
For tournaments it's even worse, the very few tournaments they host have player caps. For example, their daily morning tournament has player cap of 27 players. If you don't arrive an hour early you won't be able to get in, but you'll be able to sit at one of the dozens of empty table.response / report this review
