I love this place!
I could complain about the prices being a little high but it’s open 24 hours and it’s so well taken care of and well-maintained that it still looks brand new, and the equipment works great! The vacuum actually last enough minutes that you can vacuum a filthy car on one token. If I know it’s worth it I am OK with paying a little more. Shine auto wash is worth it!

Dirty and damage to my car
Very poor service each time I go. I went to this car wash several times. The car is never washed properly.
More importantly, there are other issues with that car wash. Once, it caused the car side protection strip to detach and later on that day it snapped out on the highway. It could have cause a serious accident when it flew in the air in the middle of the busy highway!
The last time I went was last Sunday. I paid extra to have triple soap, thinking that this time it would do a proper job. When my car came out, the roof and the windows were still very dirty. I was in a rush to go so I phoned the next day to report it. Since I work 10 to 12 hour a day, it was not possible for me to go back to show them the bad result of the wash as it twas suggested to me. Being aware of the fact that work long hours daily, the guy on the phone said I could email the manager. So I did send an email on Monday, attaching photos of the car with dirt and leaves still stuck on the car. The manager did not even acknowledge my email with any response. I am never going back there. That is beyond poor service and professionalism.

The lineups can be a bit long on a nice day but Shine remains the best wash for the best value in town. I prefer the Burnaby location at Gilley Ave. Much larger facility with less traffic.

**Our car was damaged**
Went into get our car washed on a at around 5:40pm, they told us to put the car into neutral once on the conveyor system. the car went through smoothly till the end and got stuck at the end of the track.

The machine kept trying to push us out but it wouldn't budge, then the car that was behind us rammed into us and pushed us out leaving a hole in the back of the bumper. we went into the shop 15 mins before closing and the attendant said that the manager was not in and that we had to fill out an "indecent report". Once we did that he said that the manager would contact us tomorrow. we waited all of Wednesday and no call.

We went in to the shop on Thursday to speak to the manager and the a different attendant rudely and dismissively told us that the manager is not in till Saturday. (Why is there no management on the weekdays?)

Tomorrow is Saturday, we will be returning to the office to meet with the manager, if this situation is resolved and our bumper is repaired under their garage policy i will update and amend this post.

If not, legal action will be taken.

I took a friend’s car there to wash it after having borrowed it for a few days. I’d noticed a disclaimer indicating that they were not responsible for any damages endured but thought nothing of it. Before entering, the attendant tried to collapse my side mirrors but they don’t actuate so he told me to move forward regardless. When I came out the other side the driver’s side mirror had broken off and now I’m on the hook for a $500 repair.

Touchless car washes were created/are better because of instances such as this. DO NOT GO if you value your car.

Really quick clean wash for 8 bucks. Beats getting out the soap and hose. They say no guarantee on bird poo completely gone but most of it does go away.

*DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICESunless your car is already clean** So this is what they told me after I complained that I paid for the PLATINUM SERVICE ($18) and still had a dirty car. Buddy emphasized that he needed to explain to me that this was a "State of the art car wash, but it is still just a machine", "if I wanted a clean car I should have brought it to an auto detailersWHAT?!! I wasn't able to even get a free basic second wash from these guys. So if you currently wash your car every other day, this is the place for youit'll get your Clean Car, cleaner (sort of).

After being disappointed with "touchless" competitors, I tried to find a proper car wash that actually uses bristles to force the dirt off your car.

Although their platinum wash is expensive, I opted for it, and I was very happy with the result. It's the first automated car wash I tried that actually makes your car sparkly clean, even rims.

I went on saturday, rush hour, and the line up (in 2 lanes) was long. But because their throughput is so high, even long line ups are gone before you know it. For the amount of time spent in the booth, you would think the price is quite high, but the results make it worth it.

They put a plastic sheath over my rear wiper. Not sure why?
Will definitely use again.

Decently fast line, does a decent enough job. Not that only the most basic wash is $7. It jumps up pretty quickly from there. Also there is nowhere for you you to 'pre-wash' extra dirty parts of your car

I normally used this car wash because of its great quality washing and making my car shine.

I even went out of my way to get there because I live far away from this location.

Recently I went there to wash my car and the car came out as dirty as it was before. When showed the car to the manager to ask for either a refund or another wash for free, he yelled at me using fowl language and offensive words about me and my car.
I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau and am telling everyone about the poor and unprofessional customer service provided at this location.

I am certain that this owner will go broke soon, and hope that happens from the bottom of my heart so he learns that's not the way they should treat their customers.

Warning !

Don't go to this place, it damages your car paint

I just had SILVER WASH and I did feel the brushes hit the car so heavy during the wash, and after that I found there are lots of scratches at the car exterior.

Trying to make a phone call to discuss about the issue no one answers. No E-mail found on website

Below images were taken right after the wash. This is a newly acquired vehicle and before the wash no such scratches or marks are there

The vacuums are the best in town!!!! I usually go for the gold wash because it has the undercarriage, a must during winter season. I add the rain x, perfect add on for Vancouvers weather. I usually try to avoid afternoon because sometimes its packed--- so i try to go at night since they're open 24 hours. I wash my brand new black Audi once a week or so and it always comes out sparkling like new. Thank you Shine Auto Wash.

Front a rear bumpers untouched and left dirty. The front was left dirty on each side of the licence plate and most of the rear was untouched. This is a common complaint after reading reviews and talking with people. Rear window was also left untouched at the top. Waste of money. Paid for the Gold package I think, the one with under carriage wash, it was $15. Total waste of money, I will never use this again. I went through yesterday around 3pm.

Shine auto wash has been my No. 1 choice and my No. 1 recommendation to anyone who is looking for a nice car wash at a affordable pricing. Yes it's not as good as a hand wash but consider it's fast and it's environmental friendly. Some people may think it doesn't get to all the area Well cars come in all shapes and sizes, it's difficult to engineer a wash that can get to all those areas but they continue to improve the wash process. Meanwhile, I had the honor to meet the man who designed the system at the wash today. Continue the awesome service Shine Auto Wash!
