We had been looking in Nanaimo for used cars without success. The Nanaimo salespeople were very lackadaisical just totally not interested in selling their vehicles. We came back to Parksville in the pouring rain and went to have a look at Parksville Chrysler. Daniel came out to help us, he seemed courteous, friendly, sympathetic, and ready to help us find a vehicle. I was very impressed by Daniel and so was my wife. Daniel did sell us a car in fact he made sure that we bought what we liked, he even had the brakes, tires, windshield wipers replaced n/c. My wife and I totally recommend Daniel at Parksville Chrysler.
This is the best car dealership ever. Daniel Bortoley is my salesman there. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, not pushy, and goes to any length to accommodate you and get what you need. I have bought 4 brandnew trucks from him. Thanks Daniel.
Went in for 2 recalls on my vehicle. Staff are friendly, efficient and they even washed my vehicle which was a lovely extra! Repairs were done on time as they said it would be.
I usually do not write reviews however I feel the need to as the staff were exceptional. They were not pushy, very friendly, fast and easy to deal with. I feel that I got an amazing deal on my new vehicle and the entire process was positive. I would highly recommend travelling to this dealership and I don't doubt you'd also be impressed. I had Taylor and I would have her again! I came from Victoria, BC and would come here again.
If I could just rate the service guys I would give them 5 stars but I found the sales staff to be way to pushy. I went to Alberni instead where I just loved the sales staff and finance manager, couldn't do enough for you without being too pushy. Really went out there way to help. However the service staff at Parksville are great and very helpful.
I went to this place to regularly service my Jeep Wrangler for 3 years since moving to Qualicum Beach. Until the last service they never had washed my car. Although they have a data base they cannot remember that I insist on synthetic oil and rotating my tires inclusive the spare one. So, I wrote a complaint. After my last service a couple of days ago I was told that the metal caps were seized to the valve stem and it had been impossible to check the air of my tires, but that would happen when somebody has the wrong caps on the valves. I asked the service guy and the manager Bruce why it never had been pointed out to me that I had the wrong caps on my tire valves and that there might be a possibility of them fusing to the metal valve. I received the following answer "That's not our job, but we can replace the valves for $389." I asked Bruce if he got my complaint and why I never received an answer and he rudely told me "Yes, we received it and here I am to talk to you. But I surely cannot focus on those minor problems now because i'm in the process of losing a good friend and that is a real tragedy compared to your seized valve caps and we just made the generous offer to switch them for you at this special price." I've never been treated like this before in my life. I lived in Manitoba before and the service people for sure went the extra mile for me at Brandon Dodge Chrysler. I'm truly disappointed and neither would I recommend this dealership nor ever have my car serviced by them again.
If you want to get ripped off and treated rude then I would suggest going to this dealership. Incompetence is being generous when describing their service department.
I have bought 2 vehicles in the past 7 years, both purchased at Parksville Chrysler. I have always received exceptional service from everyone there. Daniel was my salesman and he was friendly, helpful; and not pushy. James in service always helps me out, he even puts air in my tires when I need itI just show up and he helps me out. Kevin in finance has always made my purchases smooth sailing. Thanks guys!
In a word .. best buying experience I've ever had. Just ask for Bruce. Service is best on the Island.
Through multiple experiences with service, sales and parts departments I can say I am thouroughly impressed with their staff and service. Just bought a new van from Daniel! Thanks buddy.
I travelled from Vancouver to Parksville
Yesterday to buy a specific car.
Daniel at parksville Chrysler was fantastic.
He answered all of my emails quickly and had
The car ready for me to test drive.
I was not pressured by Daniel or any other member of Parksville Chrysler.
My experience was positive and quick.
Daniel even called the old owner about a extra part and it was brought into the dealership.
I have a dislike of being up sold and pushed
As I have experienced this in tbe past from numerous car dealers So many thanks
Daniel for a great experience
And I love my new beetle

Fraudulent dealership, glad I never purchased my vehicle here, and they ripped me off for very little; got an oil change done, before showing up I made sure all my fluids were topped up so they wouldn't have to and charge me for it, go to pick car up and what do ya know, a measly dollar for windshield washer fluid, I then told the service person that they never put a drop in and he just laughed then handed me the bill, I then told him alright no problem I'll pay it I guess, obviously they charge it to everyone as their little scam even if they didn't do it, everyone's washer fluid must be down a little right? I let everyone I know not to go into this scum dealer, got reminded about them last night and figured I'd make a post about their business ethics, they are also useless when trying to get some warranty work done
