Good service. Accommodations, not so much. Squeaky bed, bad toilet paper, couldn't really control the temp of the shower. One tv , one AC unit.

We had a great chat with the owner on check-in and found the rooms spacious and clean. The hotel is close to a road but we didn't find it too loud at all. All in all, an enjoyable stay.

I was surprised. The last time we were there, we were able to bring our pup. This time, we were informed that there is now only one pet friendly room, and there is additional charge. I was also extremely surprised that we had a knock on our door at 10:45 am from the housekeeper. She asked if we were checking out, and we said yes. She said she has to clean our room next, so if we can be out in a couple minutes, that would be great. Umm, really? And then the front desk called us five minutes later asking if we're leaving, because the housekeeper is waiting outside for us. We paid $100 for a room, that was actually 99. something, and wasn't offered change, and we're being pushed out earlier than check out time!!! Well, we sat on the bed and watched the rest of the program on TV, and waited until 11 to vacate the room.
I can guarantee, although that was the only placed we stayed whenever we were in Port Alberni, we will NOT be staying there again!

Nothing special, the room has everything you NEED. If you just need a place to sleep, this is a great choice.

This place has bed bugs. And refuse to call an exterminator. The staff are ignorant and tell the patrons they are dirty. If you are in charge of finding lodging for your work crew, stay as far away from this place as possible.

Everything was pretty good, though I thought it was a little bit more expensive than it should have been for this time of year. However, it was newly renovated and the service and staff were friendly and the restaurant downstairs serves amazing pizza!
