Kids enjoyed the gelato but we weren't impressed with the service. We came in for an affogato and we're told they couldn't make it because the kitchen is closed.

Definitely not Italian style coffee. It was made in the crappy acidic Northwest style that everyone seems to like.

(As of November 2010) Decided to try it out. The people were very friendly and the shop was really nice. We didn't like the coffee or the pastry. Maybe it's better now

This was the worst restaurant I have ever been to in Victoria. My aunt and I had breakfast here, we took it back and asked for a refund. Absolutely deplorable. If you want something more than coffee, go somewhere else. The only thing this place has going for it is location. I can't believe they even call themselves a restaurant.

Patio good for kids. They can be there safely and out of traffic. Buskers in Bastion Square in the summer.
Great view from the patio.
Italian sandwiches, pasta, ice cream. Excellent coffee!
Opened by an Italian who has sold it but new owners have maintained the ambiance. Helpful staff.
