I usually enjoy lattes more than a regular drip coffee but Caffe Fantastico's coffee is SO good. It is one of the best I have ever had! Yummy.

Nice place. Great coffee. Limited food menu though. Had the breakfast sandwich, it was very good. Tasty. Latte was only mildly warm, but nice flavour.

Fantastico is a well reknown local coffee roaster in town! This location has the roastery, has lots of space available and even high chairs, and serve delicious foods options for breakfast and lunch. On Friday there is free coffee tasting too! My go-to is almond milk africano with the gluten-free chocolate chip muffin!

Great coffee and nice place to sit. It's usually very busy. They messed up my order a few times but are usually great about fixing it.

Great food and perfect espresso. I am a regular and find the staff to be friendly and efficient for a busy place. The visual ambience is less inspiring. My only complaint is about the acoustics -- echoing sounds from the roaster, a massively underpowered sound system that is often too loud and bassy. With some acoustic tiling (as the 5th Street Grill has installed) it would be a much more pleasant experience.

I wish I could give zero stars
The only reason I return to this place is because the coffee is good and it happens to be the closest coffee shop in our neighborhood.
The customer service is garbage and expect to wait a long time for your drink. No matter how slow this place is they always find some reason to make you wait 20 minutes for an Americano. The staff are rude and always seem bothered that you are inconveniencing them by placing and order.
After being served a burning hot coffee the other day (after about a 15 minute wait) we had to fight the barista to double cup our drinks because they "don't do" sleeves.
Who even owns this joint please fire your staff and learn some customer service and while you're at get some sleeves for your cups.response / report this review -

Definitely do not bring your laptop here. There was no signage that I could see regarding laptops not being allowed or having a time limit. I was told this after I ordered my coffee and food which were pretty good but the whole thing was ruined by the staff member who was rude after he informed me that 'this establishment doesn't allow laptops and you can only be on it for 30 minutes.' Oof. If this is for all the Fantastico cafes I'll be pretty disappointed.

Loved the atmosphere, coffee, and food for many years! I used to get coffee at the old Cook St Village location all the time. Visited less frequently to grab coffee and go when we stopped being able to order the roast we prefer-- they just brew one at a time. Recently was told I could not sit in the shop and work on my laptop so I won't be back. Apparently they don't want laptops, even if you're reading.I think they want to be a bistro not a coffee shop. Really enjoyed the atmosphere as a place to work and meet friends but sadly both my reasons for visiting this business have been eliminated.
