One of my favourite special occasion restaurants. The food is clearly made with love and knowledge, the wine selection is unique, the staff is amazing. Highly suggest the tasting menus with wine pairings. The pork belly and smoked salmon were particular favourites on a recent visit.

My husband and I come here often and recently came to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. It was an absolutely amazing evening, from the cocktails right through to the dessert. We felt so taken care of, and really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. The food was AMAZING. So were the drinks (I may be a little biased). I can't recommend enough.

Magnificent! From the food to the service to the drinks to the ambience, everything was perfection. Definitely get the semolina, the tomato salad, and the smoked salmon. Loved the skirt steak and lamb entrees, too! Topped off by a great chocolate dessert. Can't wait to return!

From the moment we walked in the door, Sahara and her team took exceptional care of us. This is a staff that are proud of what they serve and what OLO is all about, and rightfully so. The farm to table connection is evident and deliberate in all their pairings from the cocktails, through the menu, to the carefully curated local wine list. This is the kind of restaurant you come to have an experience. If you want to taste Vancouver Island on innumerable levels, you must give OLO a visit.

I came late evening to get food for takeout. I walked in and waited by the entrance for someone to assist and no one came. I approached the bar tender to the left and he couldn't be bothered and gave me a cold shoulder and said someone will come soon. Anyway I ended up ordering the cod and celery dish to go. The cod was so so and the celery was disgusting. Portions were also very small. Not sure what all the hype is about.

Staff was very outgoing and I have to say this establishment is the pinnacle embodiment of the farm to table concept. If you are looking for dishes drenched in sauces, overly complicated dishes, this place is not for you. Everything you order here is simple and rustic. You actually taste each ingredient like it was meant to taste. Highly recommend it to anyone in the area. We just stumbled onto this place when Jam Cafe's line up got too ridiculous and we do not regret one minute of our decision.

Exceptional service! Warm and inviting atmosphere. The servers were fantastic. Great recommendations and very attentive. The menu and chef creations are unique and delicious. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the portion size. Some plates are available in half or full size. I ordered a half entree of the vegetarian ravioli. It was delicious but with only 5 small ravioli in the bowl the portion was more of a small appetizer not a half entree.

Came for the Dine out event and had the 50 menu alongside the wine pairings. Everything was well thought out and all dishes were served in a very appealing manner. This restaurant had a very strong focus on using local ingredients for their dishes and wine lists. I had an amazing time.
