We came in to the bar for drinks and Aaron was our bartender and was so pleasant and nice to talk to him, what a great and fun bartender! Then we decided to be seated and had a early dinner and our waiter Andrew was so helpful and courteous and was great on helping us to decide on which Cabernet to order for our lunch! Plus the meal was very very good! There’s three of us, two of us had ribeye steak and my husband had salmon excellent!!!!

Neat layout with flare gave that marine feel to the atmosphere. It never sounded loud despite the restaurant being busy and it also never felt crowded (we were sat inside on the upper deck).
Our server, Sheila, was friendly, provided excellent service, offered us suggestions for fun cocktails, and she was super patient as we tried to sort payment with gift card and credit.
Loved the mussel steamer pot in the garlic white wine. It was also super exciting to have a gluten free batter for the cod fish and chips, it was crispy and tasted amazing!
    Great first time in!

Went there for lunch on a Monday. The service was great, but the food was pretty bland. We ordered the halibut fish and chips, the lobster sandwich, the coconut curry bowl, as well as the chowder and caramelized beets. The last two, which were appetizers, were pretty good, but overall it seemed like everything was under salted. Not what you're expecting from a restaurant in general, especially one that's a bit more expensive.

This is one of the most elite restaurants in Victoria. Still can be casual, but not very. Amazing food, some of the best seafood ever. The Lobster mac n cheese was amazing. High quality, High service, which comes at a high price

Fantastic Food! Service! Ambience! We were in Victoria for our anniversary and felt like seafood when we came across this gem. Oysters were amazing. The wine selection both by the bottle and glass is extensive and has something for everyone's palette. I had the Alder Plank Halibut and it was by far some of the best Halibut I've ever had, the Blueberry Jam, Veggie mix and the Mesquite Potatoes all complimented it very well.

    Highly recommend this place!

It started out great! No reservation (this place is really busy) anyway they sat us at the bar, whipped up drinks for us really quick. As we waited for the server to come back. I heard the manager asking the kitchen staff, "May I?" I figured out, that's the problem word. Every time there was an issue, it was "May i?" Then the issue. Anyways we ordered a steak (well done) crab cakes and a sushi roll. Everything came out, the steak was still bleeding as if it was just butchered and so we said something. They sent the dish back and cooked it well done. They apologized over and over again. The manager ended up taking the steak off the bill.

Booming a table through opentable was amazing. We were driving towards the restaurant and we were able to reserve a seat and it was waiting for us when we got there.

Food came out very quickly and it was tasty. The menu also shows Gluten-Free options which is a plus!

We always dine here when we're downtown. Their meal seafood salad is the best you'll get anywhere. Service is great - staff helpful and friendly.

Service was good. Ambiance was very dark. Food was average. Perhaps off day but the seafood was extremely fishy, especially the mussels. Was not fresh at all. The server was very quick to offer a substitute though. Drinks wasn't half bad, just the seafood on the day we went was sub-par.

The service and staff were amazing, crab cakes were so delicious! Give them a try! And I had a salmon quesadilla it was out of this world! Although we came here for our last night in Victoria and saw that they have happy hour 3-5:30 fresh oysters were $1!!! So we ordered a couple and later that night got food poisoning. There oysters might not have been fresh. I had to take my boyfriend to the ER that night cause he was puking up a lot of oysters and blood. Just beware of there oysters everything else was amazing though.
