The room was modern with updated furniture and appliances such as a microwave, fridge, stove, oven and dishwasher. The breakfast was complimentary with a good variety of food. The staff are accomodating.. definitely service with a smile. Parking was not on premises.. about a 2 minute walk away from the hotel with a payment of $10 for a spot. Even though there are only 4 floors, it would be nice to have an elevator.

Enjoyed my stay at Nuvo- parking is very fairly priced and the staff are friendly and nice. The free breakfast was good- and had good hot food , fresh fruit and other good stuff. The kitchenette is well stocked for people on longer stays, but still highly recommended for short stays too. The room A\C worked well, which helped on my summer stay. There is a Starbucks on the corner and a Safeway grocery store literally across the street which is awesome. Great location as 17th St. SW is a ten minute walk for restaurants and shopping but I was also able to walk to Stephen Street as well. I would stay again.

Easily accessible from both front or rear door. Rooms are well equipped and have many amenities. Breakfast is provided. Located across from Safeway.

This Hotel was a complete surprise to us. We did not know the area and it was situated right down town with parking ($10 a night)a block away. Not too hard to find if you know Calgary. Friendly staff, simple breakfast. The hallways were narrow and twisty and there is no elevator. AC was noisy and just about cooled the unit off. There is a board protruding from around the bed that you can crack your shins against, the kitchen in the room was functional, no tub just a shower, window looked out on a back alley that we didn't enjoy, but a positive is that we could see our vehicle from there a block away. Would "NOT" entertain staying there again.

Decently priced place. Rooms appear stylish on photos but are really run down in reality. Dirty and dusty A/C units, rusty towel holders in bathrooms, cupboards doors that are not closing properly, bed that's either old or cheap but it sags in the middle so really uncomfortable to sleep two. I was on Room 405. Oh and what a surprise to taste Sunny D when I sipped on what I thought was orange juice for breakfast oh Sunny D.
Good things: nice location, little kitchen in the room, nice balcony to sit outside and relax, furniture is more modern than other hotels though maybe not as good of quality.
It wasn't bad experience but would not stay again.response / report this review -

Pros: -The staff is great - The location is great. - Everything is approachable from here. - The complimentary breakfast was neat. Cons: - all the rooms have the same wifi password, why would you have different routers but the same password. - my neighbor's have a 16mbps connection I have just 5 and it's always reconnecting. Thanks God I am not working while staying here. - the coffee machine in my room is broken, I notified the staff and they said they will get it repaired soon (they never knew about this). Till then I can use the machine in their office, but what about the times when office is closed? - they don't provide toothpaste, I forgot to pack mine and they did not have one. Overall the stay was pleasant, with minor hiccups.

Large room for a great price. An easy choice for attending shows at the Commonwealth bar. Most basic room is a full suite.

Outdoor parking or garage parking a block away. Nice to have a kitchen in the room. Toilet wouldn't refill and the drawers kept getting stuck. There isn't an elevator so good luck walking up your luggages

Cute decor. Simple breakfast included (bagels and cereal). Balcony and full kitchen is a nice touch. The rooms are fairly small but it's functional.

The best experience I've ever had. I was literally impressed how they designed a full kitchen room which is modern and luxurious. Staff was friendly, helpful and they were trained properly with respectful manners. That made of my day. Hotel was located right across from Safeway which was very convenient location for me to get what I needed to cook in my room. Everything was good except for an absent of elevator. It was not a big deal, but so much better having one.
