Amazing food, friendly staff, great location! Would recommend it to any families traveling that want quick food but still get the restaurant type atmosphere.
I unfortunately was disappointed with this place. We were driving around looking for a fun place to stop for dinner and this place looked fun and inviting. We ordered the nomad and n2 burgers with fries and sat down to wait. We waited quite a while, which was okay because it seemed pretty busy. our fries arrives cold and cold fries are much less delicious than hot fresh fries, and our burgers were like cardboard burgers. We had expected some kind of secret sauce, or special patty to make this place stand out.. but nothing. The burgers were just thin, boring burgers comparable to McDonald's. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing but definitely nothing special.
A small eatery located just a minute of the highway. There is both an outdoor and an indoor seating area. Great for the summer. The atmosphere is really nice and the service is great.
The food was really bad. We ordered the Nomad burger and the not so spicy chicken wrap. The burger had a big whole wheat bun, a big patty, lots of lettuce but a tiny bit of onion and tomato. The bun was the only thing you could taste and the whole burger was very very dry. The wrap also had lots of lettuce and sauce with no chicken in sight. It was not dry but all you could taste was the wrap and the lettuce.
Overall we were very dissapointed and will not be stopping there again with so many other choices near by.
The food was average and plain. It was clear that the table condiments had been sitting out in the heat and sun for a long time without ever being replaced. The toilets in the bathrooms didn't flush. There was an army of flies inside the venue. Any fast food chain like a Wendy's would have been a much better place to stop.
The Nomad has always been a favourite stop for us in Revelstoke; but on our way through last night, we waited almost an hour for our food. I know good food takes time, but one hour is too long for take out. And when you do make your customers wait that long, say something! You should at
least be nice! Not sure if it was manager or owner, but she was pretty rude to my son when he ordered, and my kids overheard her tell another customer she wished she wasn't there. Not sure the Nomad will be on our itinerary next time we're through, the whole family was turned off. 😔
My partner and I really enjoyed the food. We both had burritos and a large Greek salad. It was a lovely meal, with great service and views out to the surrounding mountain.
Then my partner left her wallet in the restaurant, which had her license and passport inside. We were on a road trip and didn't notice the missing wallet until hours later. The next day, the owner of Nomad was at the post office shipping the wallet to our home. We offered to pay the shipping cost but the owner declined.
Thanks again for a great meal and extremely kind gesture!
Renovations look great. Excellent food. Worth stopping in.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Nomad No-Meat burger with poutine on the side. Perfect portion, burger was delicious, and the gravy was fab as well. :) Cute location, delightful setting. Will come back in the future, for sure!
Comfortable booth dining area, retro with a modern flare. I enjoyed the falafel wrap with sweet potato and ginger soup on several occasions very good, hasn't dissapointed. If you have any allergies or food restrictions just ask. They have a detailed description of the ingredients in the food.
Great fries and burgers at a good price. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Will have their liquor license soon apparently.
Has had several changes over the past year but maintained a relatively consistent menu with good food quality. Renovations inside are of a welcome change to the interior and look forward to experiencing the continued progress of the restaurant. Worth stopping at for a burger, wrap, fish and chips, or otherwise.
