I was very happy with the service Esteban and New Canadian Plumbing provided. I called about a leaky toilet and had a plumber at my door an hour later. Esteban was pleasant, communicative, quiet, and fixed two things that were wrong with it. I would definitely hire this company again

Recently had a leaking toilet. Response was very quick and they replaced the wax seal on the toilet very quickly; did a great job cleaning under and around the toilet. Felt very satisfied with the result.

A week later called them back to fix the thermostat on the water hot water heater to make sure my young daughter doesn't get burned. Again, a very smooth experience and knowledgeable service.

    Would definitely recommend them.

Yes you are safe to have these guys fix your drains. Extremely reliable (came even earlier because of emergency!) and super professional. Explained their work and very detailed and thorough. There is a reason these guys have these rating on here. Don't hesitate, you have found the right place and the reviews should tell you something.

Kitchen Faucet Install; I have done many of these over the years, but have never come across a stubborn one like this. I attempted to remove the old faucet for several days with no success, that nut holding the faucet just would not budge.

I called several plumbers for quotes, some offered estimated quotes, others would not offer quotes, but would rather come onsite for a fee, typically $75 - $100, then charge for whatever work was required. I then recalled seeing the New Canadian Drain, and plumbing van in my area on several occasions, so I called them.

I made arrangements to have someone come out and assess the situation, they called back, to inform me that they could come a bit earlier, which was great.

Upon arrival, I greeted Mark, who was very polite, he assessed the work required, and came up with a quote, we negotiated the price to an acceptable, agreeable cost for both parties. Amazingly Mark was able to free that stubborn nut, and removed the old faucet. From that point on, the work was pretty much straight forward, however, again, Mark did an amazing job, and I am confident that the job was done correctly, and will trouble free for many years to come.

He suggested that I inspect the work for satisfaction, which I did, all thumbs up, great job. I must also mention that Mark did suggest alternative solutions, if I should decide to go that route, which I found to be very professional.

He cleaned up after the job was completed.

Overall, Mark, and the workmanship was very professional, he takes pride in customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend New Canadian Drain, and Plumbing as well as Mark. I am adding my “BIG 10 review rating to the already numerous others.

A big Thank you to a job well done.

    DO NOT WORK WITH THEM!
We were introduced to them by our insurance company, to come and fix the sewage backup issue we had.
They kept adding to the problems that we had and we ended up paying more than twice as much as we were prepared for.
But that wasn't the only problem,a few days after they left we had flooding in our basement, because they forgot to reinstall the downpipe. When I called them and told them about the flooding, they kept telling me that they were going to do something about, but after a few weeks they just told me that it's not their fault.
I kept calling them to see if there's someone that could help me with this issue, and finally got the name of the owner "Igor". I've left them at least 5 voice messages but he has not replied to any of them.
When we were finally ready to renovate the basement, we are realized how bad their job has been. And one of the photos you could see the pipe that they have installed is on an angle, and we had to create a box around it.

They did an excellent job running my new supply lines back in 2015 on my building. The new supply lines they placed for my 25 unit apartment building have been working great for the last couple of years. Very professional and when they encountered difficulties they handled it very well. Water pressure is great and they took care of a head for me.

I called New Canadian to come inspect a leaking kitchen sink. I was able to get an appointment the next day at a time that suited me. Mike arrived promptly at the time agreed, and was able to fix the problem, and make some recommendations for future work. I was very happy with the quality of the service! Highly recommend!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! My mother had two faucets replaced and the price she paid was outrageous. She selected two faucets, and was charged $420 for each of them. In addition to the price of the faucets, she was charged $560 for the installation of both. She was also charged $300 to install two shut-off valves under the sinks.

I was apoplectic when I saw the faucets that she selected (she was told by the plumber they were of the highest quality), and what she was charged. The two faucets were a generic brand and of average quality, and were $129 and $69, respectively, from Rona and Home Depot. My mother was told that she shouldn't ever buy from the aforementioned companies because their plumbing supplies are lacking in quality, and that it is better to buy from the plumbing company. She selected the faucets from the "Plumber's Book" (it was the New Canadian pricing book) which she was under the impression, thanks in no large part to the plumber, that the book applied to all plumbing companies in the city. She ended up paying $640 more for the faucets than what Home Depot was selling them for - that is a 320% markup!!!!!!

The price of the job, as I have come to find out from my own research and talking to three other plumbers, one of whom is my work colleague's partner, should have been no more than $900 (my mom paid $1,700 plus HST).

Not that I am looking for sympathy but this company took advantage of an elderly woman who had no knowledge of plumbing pricing. They took advantage of her trust and vulnerability in the moment. When I explained to my mother the extent of how much she paid she was in tears for days. She subsequently cancelled a second job with New Canadian which was also quoted $2,000 more than the plumber we are currently using. The contract for the second job failed to provide an itemized cost for every aspect of the work being done, and a firm time frame for completion. They also asked for a 50% down payment, which my mother foolishly agreed to, before they were going to start work on the second project. NEVER EVER PUT DOWN MORE THAN 10% on any home improvement project.

This company should be ashamed of itself. I remain angry and sickened by their business practices. I've already told everyone at my work (over 150 employees) never to use New Canadian Plumbing. This is a company lacking in business ethics.

This review should be ZERO stars but I had to select one in order to post this review.

I️ called for service at 2:30pm and was surprised to see the technician arrive before 3:00pm. There was a free estimate for the job and the diagnosis was quick. The technician was able to work with us to obtain a more affordable price for the job. He was finished by 4:00pm! We are very pleased with the quick and amazing quality of the work and will use them next time our kids put straws down the drain or any plumbing need.

Had a leak in my kitchen sink. Raymond diagnosed the issue quickly, and fixed the leak in less than half an hour. It was $560+tax for replacing two basket strainers, which is kind of pricey, but all plumbing-related matters seem to be. Service was good, and the job looks well done. I will have no hesitation in calling them again should another problem arise.

Professional and competent!! I had called up The New Canadian Drain plumbers when my basement flooded. Even though I was frantic and probably did not make much sense the secretary Anna was reassuring and promised to have a technician at my house in 40 minutes. The plumber, Iman, came to my house and was not intimidating or domineering and gave me my options and in turn answered all my questions. They began the work that same day. Their crew was fast, efficient and clean. They replaced my drains and installed the back water valve, dealt with the appointment for the city inspector, and as promised Anna helped me fill out the rebate form. I am a strong believer in paying for good quality and this definitely was money well spent from start to finish. I greatly appreciate the service that was rendered and will absolutely recommend New Canadian to all.

    EXCELLENT JOB!
We needed plumbing changed in two washrooms and kitchen and asked New Canadian for an estimate. They came in right away, gave us a reasonable estimate (better than the other two companies) and were able to start on the project that same day. All of the plumbing was changed by the end of the second day, and this is when their competition gave us 4 to 5 days to complete the work. Fast and quality work. The two workers knew exactly what and how to do; they worked like a team, were very professional, and respectful to us the owners and the neighbours trying to create minimal noise. We also were able to ask them questions and received very informative advice in plain layman's terms. We would definitely recommend their service to our family and friends for their efficiency, expertise, punctuality, quality and professionalism all around. It was a pleasure to deal with the owner, office assistant and the two men who actually did the work.
