My 4 yo who refuses to talk to strangers, and to be honest barely acknowledges her classmates at school, LOVES coming here. She has been there 2 years, but because of COVID, this year was her first recital and I was convinced she would refuse to get on stage. Instead she was front and centre and so proud of herself, and tonight at the end of year party she walked right into the middle of the room and started dancing and ignored me completely for the next hour and a half. This is the same kid I have to hold her hand and stand in line at school every day until she goes inside.
She even named her new barbies Miss Melissa and Miss Elena, and says she loves everyone at the studio including Jim (who she refuses to talk to). As someone who was a lifelong dancer, and had to change studios when we moved when I was a teenager and ended up quitting dance because of it, I can say I really appreciate a studio which is so accomplished, and yet so friendly and welcoming to everybody, no matter their age or skill level.
Quality dance education by certified teachers in a family friendly environment!
If you are thinking of signing your toddler up for dance, I would strongly suggest signing them up with Move With Grace. My daughter is three years old and absolutely loves it. The teachers are beyond patient and kind. They ensure all children are included/ understand what is going on in class. We have only done 2 classes of the kiddazzle 6 week program so far and have already decided to enroll her in full semester starting this upcoming September. We were originally a bit worried as my three year old has a mind of her own. She is very energetic and is still learning how to follow directions - that being said the teachers have been nothing but respectful, kind and patient with teaching her, even with her running around and pretending to be a puppy for a portion of class… but because they have shown her kindness and patience all she wants to do is dance now, and asks “when are we going back to dance class?” at least 5 times a day. 😂 my daughter has already found something she is very passionate about and we are excited to watch her grow. We are very thankful we chose Move With Grace!
Move with Grace dance studio is definitely the studio you want to join. My little has spouted out of her shell and has gained so much confidence there. Everyone there genuinely loves and cares about each and every student. They know them each by name and even remembers all the parents. They have a variety of classes and times for every child, teen and even adults! I honestly could not imagine going somewhere else. We dance regularly and go to their camps and we have never been disappointed!
We are so lucky to have an awesome Dance Studio that has adapted even with Covid19 to keep our Dancers dancing!! So excited for this year 🤸👯😃
Outstanding staff, creating confident kids through dance. Great atmosphere, family friendly, all adult staff specialized in dance. Love it!
I would like to leave a lower rating but because it had been better and enjoyable in the previous years I am leaving a 3. I would rate this last season as a 0 or 1 at best. I used to be a strong supporter of this studio but I have been less than impressed this last year. My daughters coach spent more time on her phone than she did teaching her class; the costumes for the year end recitle were absolutely horrible all the girls in the class hated them; and when I was called at the beginning of the summer for the early bird registration I voiced my complaints and was told I would get a phone call from the owner in which of course I didn't. When I asked my daughter how she enjoyed her year at dance this year her response was that she learned more last year. And it was supposed to be a more advanced class. The other moms I talked to all had the same opinion of this last season so I know it's not just me. The year end recitle is absolutely rediculous, very poor organization on the studios part, without all the dance moms volunteering to do the entire show there would be absolute chaos while the owner and husband hide backstage for the entire show doing sound and introductions, rather than organizing the changerooms and getting dancers onto stage themselves and hiring professionals to do the background work. With the cost us mom's have to pay they should at least give a hefty discount to recitle volunteers for the amount of time, patience and care it takes to get those 4 shows done; they are totally taking advantage of mom's who know how bad it is and don't want their babies left in that situation all day. Oh, and I keep getting a bill saying I still owe them $5.95 yet I paid for the year in full at the beginning of the season. Needless to say, I think we will be on the hunt for a new studio this year!
I've gotten to know Robyn Tedesco over the past year, at a number of dance industry seminars, and she and her family along with their dedicated staff, care deeply about the kids at the studio. She is dedicated to making her students the best dancers - and even more so - the best people - they can be. Move with Grace families are lucky to have such a dedicated advocate working to provide them with the finest dance studio in the area.
Great staff, teachers and behind the desk team!
Not your typical dance studio! I am so impressed by how well Robyn, Jim, and their staff provide such outstanding support to our kids! I've always witnessed the heart and soul of their studio being instilling confidence, unleashing creativity, and helping young dancers to develop a love for dance. We first came to this studio on the strong recommendation of another parent, and I'm eager to tell others about them because MWG Dance continues to earn my trust year after year!
Rarely does a family dedicate itself so completely and selflessly to helping others share in this passion for the arts. Bravo, Tedesco's. The world needs more people like you.
You won't find a more caring, nurturing studio out there - the teachers, the other students, the atmosphere, it's absolutely the best studio in town. I would recommend Move with Grace to ANYONE!
