Some of the best dim sum in the world. This is a food destination whenever I am in Toronto.

The food was good but some of the waiting staffs are rude. One of the waiters was careless and bumped the plate into my hands, spilling the food all over the table. He didn’t apologize and asked me impolitely whether I think he should bring a new plate. Wow

We broke our usual rule for only eating in ethnic restaurants where the majority of diners look to be of that ethnic extraction. Mother's was overrun by folks who look like me, and the food was mediocre compared to the dives where hipsters do not congregate and most employees don't speak English. But if you want to see and be seen by the hippest, eat at Mother's. It's good enough.
