I went to Moods after work and went in and ask if they have an opening for my luck and. Surprise they did.
I was so glad my roots were a 911 case 😄 I was set to see Curtis he was very nice and exelent at his profession .
His assistant very nice too she did my hair so nice just the way I wanted .
I apologize for not remember her name😫my experience at Moods was great.
Thanks for having such a great team.

Through the power of Google I found someone in Vancouver that was Vidal Sassoon trained. Joanna knows how to handle precision short hair cuts without resorting to an electric razor. I'll be back!

Don't believe all the hype. I made an online appointment here and specifically asked for a quick consultation and a hair appointment right after. This was just so I cud chat with the stylist about my hair quickly before we started. The receptionist confirmed. When I arrived the next day however they had only booked me in for the consultation. I don't live in the area and I'm new to the city so it was hard for me to navigate my way around buying a bus pass to make it to the appointment only to have them say that they had booked me in wrong and had no time for me. But, people make mistakes, I understand. It sucks but it's life. What really upset me was that they promised to call me back and make it right yet never did. I chose this place bc of all the good reviews but obviously they don't care about their customers. I thought I wud at least get an email apologizing for making me come all the way out to an appointment that was overlooked or try to book me in another time but they just forgot about me. Probably the second I left the shop. NOT very professional. And way overpriced for the level of service. I expected more.

Best haircut ever. I am hooked. Been going for a couple of years now. I appreciate that the staff stay cute on what is happening in styles. I am always happy with the cut I get. Works for business and looks hip too!

I requested an appointment with Freddy at Moods, after a confidence draining session with another stylist at a Metrotown salon, in August 2017. I LOVE my hair and color, for the first time in my life and actually have it untied for the first time this year!! Had an amazing experience without breaking the bank.. my expectations were beyond surpassed, and for the first time my hair looks better than the dozen pictures I took in for reference. Finally summer ready!!

I got a great cut and color from Kevin - did a wonderful job brightening up my highlites, looking forward to going back again soon.

I can't say enough good things about Johanna. She has been cutting and colouring my hair for almost two years now. I'm a mature woman who she took ten years off by blending gorgeous highlights into my grey and giving me a short classy cut. Everyone comments: Wow!
And bonus, Johanna is a lovely young woman, who is passionate about her work and the world, and is happy to either chat or snip along in comfortable silence. I always leave the salon loving my hair.response / report this review -

Curtis is the best thing that has ever happened to my hair. I let him do pretty much what ever he wants to my head, and I love it. He's great with colours and cuts, and pretty much anything else you could want! Solid 100 out of 10

Great Experience. Dropped in last minute to have some foils and a trim, and it turned out wonderfully, I had Chad as my stylist and the look is very natural and the cut was perfect.

After I wasn't completely satisfied with my hair colour, Chad went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience and left happy. He is an excellent stylist with lots of experience. He asks all the right questions and makes sure he knows what you want done. I have received so many compliments on my hair and absolutely love it. I will definitely be returning to Moods. Thank you Chad and fabulous staff at Moods!!

I had a bad experience my first time at this salon; however, they did correct the issue for me with a second visit, I would still not come back due to the poor service. One stylist works on multiple customers at the same time which means you have to wait a long time for them to finish your service. I had to wait 30 min. until someone came to blowdry my hair at which point I was about to standup and do it myself after waiting that long. It was not worth the price and not a good place for busy professionals. I chose the salon due to the high number of excellent reviews; however, I was disappointed with the results.

Curtis gave me the best haircut I've ever had. He listened to what I wanted and not only did he do it but he made it better.
It's been 6 weeks and still looks fresh. I still get people asking me if I've just had a haircut. I'll definitely be back.response / report this review
