Your standard grocery store with lot less items. They are starting to have more healthier options nowadays. Some locations have a turkey cranberry sandwich in cranberry bread, this sandwich is awesome and massive so you can easily have it as a meal. all the other food, meh.

Great store. Really nice selection of food. It can be a bit pricey, but then what isn’t when you are in the West End? It’s a bit confusing to navigate at first, what with it being on two floors and all, but basically all grocery items are upstairs and downstairs is reserved for bakery, restaurant, junk food, produce and juices! The only other thing to be aware of is the checkout! The store, yes, it’s horribly laid out, but it’s an odd shape so we can forgive that. However the checks outs are the worst. there’s virtually no room to line up, so you are all crowded into the one area, which is also the area for hat houses the escalators to take you to the second floor, and it’s the major thruway leading from the front to the back of the store. To say it gets congested is an understatement. Add in some carts, a couple of screaming kids, and maybe a “clean-up in aisle 4” and we are talking Mayhem. That all being said, but my the time you get to the checkout you are raggedy stressed out and grumpy . and then you are greeted by the person at the checkout. Usually they are the friendliest and nicest people you could meet. The make up for the horrible line up and can turn your day around with their smile or odd banter!

Handy supermarket. But beware the price. A little on the high side. Also produce aisle not so great. I spent 10 minutes trying to find a decent fruit to eat.
    It’s a perfect convinrent store.

Great in town grocery store. Has everything a regular supermarket has and on two levels. Always a line to check out but it is worth it.

The prices are so inflated, it's laughable. Not a very fresh deli selection or responsive staff.
About 90% of the time I shop there purely for convenience, because I live a couple of blocks away.

Good place for shopping. Great variety of products but a little bit more expensive than other markets. Meat quality and prices are great.

Great place to get some key items. Its a small local shop with limited selection but it will get you by. Unfortunately does not have everything. Good customer service.

I mean it's a grocery store, whatdya' want. Has most of the common brands, efficient cashiers, decent meat selection. All around a-okay, however very understaffed for a key downtown location

Low quantity of the grocery items I was looking for. One of the clerk's seemed disinterested in getting me something I had asked for. My checkout clerk was a very nice man. Have fun on your trip to India.

The staff cares about the wellbeing of this place. Edmond, the butcher, goes out of his way to answer questions and fulfill requests. Peter, the most efficient cashier in the city keeps the staff on their A game during the insane rushes after standard working hours end. Produce is always fresh and the deserts are pretty good too! I am lucky this place is my neighborhood grocer.

Decent day market. Could have a better selection, whitefish of organic foods but not a lot of space.

Staff are very friendly. I come here regularly and I like that most of them remember me or chat while ringing me up.
It's usually well stocked for a smaller downtown grocery store.
However as all IGA's, it is pretty over priced. No perks, loyalty program nor does it recognize gift cards from their umbrella brand.
No parking in area. Usually always people aggressively asking for money outside. Or people smoking right outside the exit, there's even an ashtray there (Illegal).

Great alternative to urban fare if you're looking for a cheaper alternative. The place is frequently stocked with decent fruit/vegetable selections, and there's always a decent sale on meats, especially chicken. It's deceptively large as it has two floors. The pricing is competitive enough to keep you from going to Costco unlike urban fare. I would say pricing is on par with Safeway, but this place doesn't have a bulk foods dispensary. It does have a cost effective bulk coffee dispensary which is nice. Can't say much more, it is your everyday marketplace. The place gets bonus points for the service staff, as I frequent the place I've gotten to know a few, and they are all courteous.
