Today I woke up with a very irritated eye, light sensitivity and pain. As a private inhome child care provider, calling into work ill/sick is not always an option. And giving my daycare families 30 minute notice to find different care would not only be difficult but would have cost me income also. I am so grateful for Lidkea Optometry and their staff for stepping up and helping me the way they did today. Not only did they get me an appointment within minutes, they also gave me peace of mind while entertaining 5 small children (11months old to 4 years old) who were overly excitable since we were in a new place. Not every business would be excited themselves to have five small children running about but they took on the challenge with huge smiles. I appreciated the gesture and their above and beyond the call of duty attitude. Thank you all again so much for taking care of me as a patient and stepping in to care for my small daycare children. Amazing service!!

Over all my experience at Dr. Lidkea Optometrist was wonderful. I was very impressed with the modern technology for the examination that included large computer images of my eyes . Dr. Lidkea and the people that work there make your visit pleasant and easy.

We have always been very happy with Dr. Lidkea and the staff. Today (Saturday) I had gotten a big piece of straw in my eye and was unable to flush it out. I messaged Lidkea optometry and they responded in seconds and said that they could meet me at the clinic and get it out. Dr lidkea was great and got it out plus several other small pieces of straw that were in there. I am so thankful that I was able to skip the hours of wait time at the emergency room and saved my eye from getting scratched worse. Thank you very much for offering such excellent care and services!!

Dr Lidkea was amazing with my daughter! We had tried to have her eyes tested elsewhere three different times and she was too scared.
Dr Lidkea has many kid friendly items that he uses and his demeanour is very kind and friendly. He took the time to help my daughter feel comfortable. Andrew at the front really helped as well. �response / report this review -

Switched my sons to another office as well as myself today, after hearing my partner having to pay $300 before he get any service when he tried to order new glasses and for the service I received trying to get my kids glasses I was told if they had to re-pop out his lenses for new ones that I had to pay $50 (lol I can pop out lenses on my own) also wouldn’t order the glasses for him (his 6) until they were paid in full. The other place I switched him too ordered them instantly without payment from INaC or myself and even gave him a 2nd set of lenses with his brand new frames and lenses he gets 6 month check ups for having such bad eye sight at his age another thing he was not offered. For having the receptionist give me bad service when I had called and asked when I was eligible for new glasses not an exam the appt was booked time came and I was told they couldn’t be ordered for 5 weeks in a rude tone the same tone my partner got. I then told both receptionists forget I don’t want the glasses and next time learn to answer questions properly don’t sucker someone into an exam when they asked for glasses. After 14-15 years of being a customer that sucks to be treated as that, you’s should have a better kids program and treat people better if you can’t handle customer service don’t be a receptionist no matter the customer in front of you. Thank you for all the previous years though but this year was not at all great

My son came home from boating with something in his eye, it was irritated, painful and red. We tried to get whatever it was out with no success. The next morning I called Lidkea's office and asked if they would see him, "sure, bring him in", brought him there right away, and within a few minutes Bruce had the tiniest piece of something out of my sons upper eye lid! Finally, no more pain. There's no way that would've been possible in Emerg. So thankful we have that kind of service and professionalism in Fort! Great experience👍
