Did you know that in Nova Scotia children under 10 are covered by MSI for their eye exam every two years? If your child is not covered under MSI or over 10 our office offers direct billing to most insurance plans. Not due for an exam, you can still come in for our staff to give your child’s glasses a tune up and cleaning to make sure they are ready for school.

Awesome experience with Valley Family Optometry. I was having major problems with blurry vision, went to Dr. Flynn (who is amazing!!) and she diagnosed me with dry eye. She put me on some anti-inflammatory drops, omega fish oil and a Bruder Eye Mask, it's been a few months and the difference has been amazing!! I no longer have blurry vision and I couldn't be happier. I would never have guessed that my problem was dry eye because they didn't feel dry or scratchy just blurry!! Can't wait for my next check up

We had an amazing experience for a first eye exam this morning. My daughter is typically nerveous with new situations especially health related and she had so much fun! Thank you to the staff at Valley Family Optometery for being so patient and kind!

Highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Dr.Morse was wonderful doing my eye exam and answering all my questions. I didn’t catch the name of the lady who helped me pick out my frames but she was an excellent help and the ladies at the front desk were also very friendly and welcoming. And not to mention my glasses were in and ready for pick up the next day!!

I canot say how wonderful Lauren Morse is. I called at noon on friday with an eye emergency (severe light sensitivity) and they fit me in that afternoon. Lauren was super friendly and quick to know my problem and put me on the way to feeling better. As well she gave me her home phone number to call if things got worse, then today (saturday) she called me just to check to see how i was doing. I highly recommend!

Friendly staff all around, helpful and polite. Great eye dr's who worked well with my two daughters ages 2.5 and 3.5. Definitely a great place to go for your Optometry needs!

Fantastic with kids. 5 year olds are hard on glasses but Valley Family Optometry has a great warranty. Have had nose pads replaced several times and a pair of run over glasses replaced no questions asked. My son enjoys seeing Dr. Kinney and especially likes the water cooler.

Switching from a known Dr is never easy for a kid to do, Dr.Morse made my 7 yr old comfortable within minutes of meeting her! Amazing staff all around!

I recently visited the office with my son. Dr Morse was absolutely FANTASTIC with my son. He is a busy body and her tricks and 'games' made him really into each activity. I would highly recommend her.
