The place is small and quite. The area isn't the best specially at night. There is a convenience store right out the door that is open 24 hours and has everything. Pets are allowed which is great. Rooms smaller but clean For the price it's not so bad but it isn't my first choice

I would not recommend it, even when the staff is nice they are not clean and have bugs like spiders and mites.

Great deal but our room had no lamp by the bed, strange stains on the curtain, and something splattered on the ceiling light. Also the door to our room had a dead bolt that didn't work and the chain lock was broken. You yet what you pay for.

Cute place but the king bed is a queen bed and the bathroom was not clean. Also no parking except a place a block and a half away that is 20$ for the night so it adds to your bill. At least they were friendly

Even though I stated I would pay IN CASH once I arrive at the hotel (3 nights stay) they tried to charge my credit card prior to arriving (5am that morning). Obviously the funds weren't there I took the cash out since I stated I would pay in cash. Once arrived the room seemed great, turned on the TV all grainy picture on every channel. The ceiling light kept flickering on and off at random and the worst part, the shower flooded the bathroom floor, and soaked the towels I put to block it. I complained after I took a shower since it was so hot and sticky I really needed it. The staff was very nice and tried to fix it. It wasn't completely fixed but it didn't flood the floor so it was better. The next day I stated I was leaving and that if someone could go up and completely fix the shower and refresh the towels since 2 were completely soaked from the water on the floor. Arrived back at my room around 9pm. The shower was fixed (good) but no extra towels so still couldn't use it. Had go ask again, staff again were very nice. I should've read the reviews prior to booking as I will never go back. Paying more than 230$/night plus a 200$ deposit and getting that type of quality just isn't worth it. Got a room at Pantages for 80$ more a night (needed a good room and couldn't trust the one here to be fully functional) it was amazing, such a big difference for a little extra money. For what you pay, it isn't worth staying, spend a little more and get a room that is of quality. Side note, there was only one staff at night to do check in fix issues and answer questions from guests. How can management expect to keep clients this way?

Have old look and the renovation is going on. Location is good but parking is an issue. Will recommend only if you want to stay for short visit.

Has the minimal basics and is affordable but the room was a little awkward, big half wall thru the middle of the room. Also, no cups, iron, fridge or even night side lamps in the room. WiFi works fine, no complains there.

I only stay here for a short period of time ant it was really good! The room in general is clean, nice people at the desk, nice location! The only thing I would improve is the breakfast, and a closet.

Location was great and the room was quite clean, but simple. Off site paid parking was nearby. WiFi was a bit spotty in our room, and breakfast could have been a bit better (no butter for toast on our second morning). Overall, what you'd expect for a cheaper hotel.

Noise was constant people easily heard walking flying bugs were on the wall when we first got in the room..showers area great breakfast area was quaint

I usually don't write reviews but this one was so bad I had to. We came to check-in and waited 15 minutes before someone came to us with a big sigh and horrible attitude. The receptionist told us to move to our hotel without courtesy and we found out our heating didn't work in our room. They said that they would fix it and wouldn't fix it at all. There are red stains in the shower curtains and the mattress. No hangers for our towels or clothes. And there was a huge hole in our front door which leaves little privacy. Would not recommend this place even for a quick one night stay!!

You get what you pay for. No parking onsite, couple blocks away and it'll cost you $40 for the weekend. Carpets in lobby, hallway and stairs looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in months. Staff were extremely nice and accommodating.

Not bad for one or two days! Not that clean but warm and affordable as a Toronto downtown hotel. Since most cheap downtown inns are infected of bedbugs, I was grateful to get a $75 room and have no bugs biting me!

It's great for a quick over night trip for the kind of traveler who doesn't spend a ton of time in their hotel room. Nothing super fancy, but it had nice warm beds and a good shower. My biggest issues were: one it was very hard to find the actual hotel, it's ticked up off the street and the sign is behind trees, and two the parking wasn't large enough, but considering the location I would suggest this hotel!
