Staff were helpful. Great selection of books, and ability to order a book online and have it drop shipped to an address. Toys are a bit pricey.
I was in here a couple days ago and had a really heartwarming experience. I know, 'that's weird - a heartwarming experience in a bookstore?' but I did. Little acts of kindness can go a real long way and can multiply exponentially. I had a book on hold, so I waited in the long line to purchase it. When I got to the front, the book they set aside for me was ripped. So, I bought it and said I was going to go upstairs and exchange it for one that wasn't ripped. The system said there was 2 on the shelf. An employee by the name of Bart was on a mission to help me find them. He looked everywhere but could not find them anywhere. Long story short, he told me that he was going to give me a ten dollar gift card for all my troubles. He got the cashier to get one ready as he left for a moment. He came back, I saw him tap a debit card and he turned and gave me the card..He bought it for me..I was so humbled and touched by what he did. An act of kindness, without expecting anything in return. I told him I would pay it forward. We should all be a little bit more like Bart.
Lead with love.

Nice large book store in the city. I usually prefer going to the smaller book stores, but occasionally it is nice to go to a larger store with lots of variety. The store also sells home decor and some interesting gadgets.
Good location, good in inventory. 2 stars because of the staff who helped me. I was looking for a book to learn Cantonese. She insisted that I should learn Mandarin instead. She told me about her cultural preferences and that she was not into Cantonese songs. I'm grateful for her checking the computer for the book I was looking for (not available) but next time I'll do that myself to spare myself her irrelevant comments and intrusive opinions. I can do without the staff's judgments on what I learn.
I love indigo. The staff is always helpful and they have beautiful home decor along with a massive collection of books. We spent a couple hours in this store
I never new Indigo had such a great selection of toys for kids. My daughter frequents the store to purchase her LOL dolls. Great place to get a last minute birthday gift or Christmas gift.
Great service, huge selections of books And relaxing atmosphere to just go, get a coffee and read a book in one of their tables.
The store is great, with lots of selection, great layout, and organized beautifully! The manager is very understanding, accommodating to different situations and helpful!
The only person who really brings down the store in my opinion, is a cashier by the name of Sophie. She has been the person on cash many times, and each time she has a poor attitude. It's almost as if she hates her job, or she just doesn't like people
Other than her, it's a great business!
Might be the largest chapters indigo in the city. It has a wide range of book collection, even for the kids. Free gift wrapping is really handy. Lots other merchandise to select as well. Could spend hours in there. One small elevator for wheelchairs and strollers but fast turn around time.
Great accessible location. There are quite a selection of books but i find sometimes what you are looking for isn't there so check ahead online first before coming. They also have a lot of nice last minute gifts
It has two floors so that's good. Pretty big upstairs. Yeah.
A great Chapters location. A great place to get books, games and gifts. When I am stumped for gift ideas I can always come here and find something for any age that is cute, delicious, or fun.
They have every book imaginable, and a massive selection of magazines.
This place is pricey but has an amazing book selection and really great toys. The American girl store is a trap, it sucked my daughter in for over an hour, but she had a lot of fun and I did too.
Best book store in Vancouver, also a decent place to find a magazine or have fun browsing the various little odd gifts you can pick up.
Great place to look around for book lovers. There's many books in practically every section, renewed every once in a few months (to my experience). Suited to fit the needs of general public. The one thing I did not enjoy was their relatively small collection of board games which I somehow expected to be slightly bigger.
