My favorite Vietnamese restaurant although it could be due to nostalgia. There's something comforting about seeing the owner with the Bluetooth.

There's not that much variety for pho like other pho restaurants but it's always good and feels clean. Not overly msg laden. The beef stew is yummy and easily my favorite place for Asian stew.

There's a few things I don't like, the main one is their hours, they close super early and often sell out of stuff. When you get pho to go they don't put the bean sprouts, basil and the brown and red sauce in a separate bag/container unless you ask (you shouldn't have to ask) the last time they forgot it completely even though I asked for it. I don't have that brown sauce at home.

If it's too busy the Shanghainese restaurant next door is very good too.

Started going to this restaurant as a child growing up. Taste has always been exceptional and service has always been great. Try the curry beef brisket with french bread.

Nice simple restaurant with fresh food. Ice coffee was very nice. Come here for a quick bite and you won't be disappointed.

Their pho and sandwiches are fresh and awesome. Really, anything you see on the menu is great. Authentic flavours, with minimal to no msg as far as I know. The only downfall is just how busy it is. Personally would come here at 10:30 am for lunch to avoid the rush.

Family run cozy and lovable. Never miss a visit to Au Petit Cafe when I am in Vancouver. Everything I have had here is fantastic. Lemongrass chicken soup or salad, meatball bun mi sandwiches are both excellent. Lime soda and ice Vietnamese coffee also winners!

Au petit cafe has the best banh mi sandwiches in town. Come early otherwise they'll sell out of bread. The other food is good too but I come here mainly for the sandwiches.

Everything is delicious. Pho, sub and spring roll. The downside is I have to drink tons of water for the rest of the day. The food is loaded with msg.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurant in town. A very small place but the food is so good. Make sure you arrive earlier or have a huge line up.

A hole in the wall. Served really awesome sandwiches. I also like the lemon grass chicken rice here. The restaurant isn't very clean. But the food is well worth the wait. And you should expect to wait some time as it is often packed.

How things change around us in a constant pace, while this little cafe has not, and in my opinion it has improved! I have not visited this place for 10+ years and the thing that brought me back was my wife wanting to have Vietnamese coffee. Of course I wouldn't miss the opportunity to have their baguette and curry and they were amazing as before I had left Vancouver!

Ah how sweet is it when places like this are still as reliable as before.
