Just moved into a new studio apartment. Had lots of ideas for furnishings. Was able to get everything I needed here in a simplified way, at a reasonable price. Use the shopping list feature online so you have everything on your smartphone when you get there. Grab a buggy and go get your stuff. Use the self-checkout and you're done! My place looks and feels great now.

Not a happy customer. When we googled assembled product return policy Canada we were informed 365 days. We shrink wrapped and delicately wrapped our table and chairs that we sat on twice in the last 120 days. There was nothing wrong with them. They just didn’t fit in our apartment. We had original receipt and when we returned them we were turned away with no credit. Customer service actually argued with me google was not correct even though I had a screen shot of the policy on my i-phone. What a waste of my time. I am completely pissed off. They wouldn’t get me a manager to speak to on the phone either when I called and ask for one.

I was trapped in this place for what felt like years. They took great care of my children at the drop off place center. I was well fed at their very nice cafeteria. They had wine. The wine helped with the shopping. Eventually i found myself home. Not the home i knew but a new beautiful place. Also i did get my kids back.
On a side note rent your own truck dont use their delivery service. If this was a review of the delivery service it would be one star.response / report this review -

Who doesn't love Ikea and their good deals?
Sure so. E stuff is cheap UT there is so much cool stuff and the cafeteria is amazing.
We both got veggie wraps, coffee, drinks, and dessert for 12 bucks?

Spent more than I should have, again. Just such cool stuff. Cool thing they don't have pop at their drink stations. The have fruit flavoured water. It is amazing!!! So refreshing. Pear is my favorite.

I like this place. Can easily spend hours here. Lots of ideas to draw from. Food is reasonably priced and good. The merchandise is nicely priced. I believe the quality has also improved as well. Staff always friendly and helpful. Usually lots of parking as well.
I try to come off peak hours otherwise be prepared for lineups at the tills. They do their best by opening extra tills when needed. But a line up is a line up.response / report this review -

It's IKEA, not much more to say. The products are generally aggressively priced, built to reasonable standards, often terrible to assemble without an extra pair of hands and don't really survive repeated disassembly and reassembly. The staff at this location have usually been helpful but as per normal for an IKEA you can never find them when you need one. Parking is plentiful for all but the busiest of weekends and access is good for shoppers from east of the Fraser. Can't complain.

Best parent hacks. Drop your kid off for one hour of free child-minding (1.5 hours if you are a free IKEA Family member) and then drop by the bistro for a free unlimited coffee for $1. I often brainstorm or write upstairs in the restaurant while my son plays happily in Smalland. Good food and lots of design inspiration as well.

This IKEA was a new step in store design when built, and still is a great place to wander and get some decent items, and a little inspiration.
The returns and exchange is on the upper level, as well as the warehouse pickup. Make sure you park on the mezzanine level if you need these services.
IKEA is more of an anomaly if you have never been. Self serve, but many employees are available if needed, but more can be added to the cabinetry department IMHO.
Very good at a no-frills shopping experience. I can navigate the warehouse myself, so it can be a quick visit - but I tend to stay and wander around for inspiration.
One note: I am not a fan of the food market being on the other side of the main cashiers. I would rather purchase my Swedish meatballs and linden berry sauce at the same time I get home essentials instead of two transactions. Maybe that can be improved in the future..

Went in today, and got an umbrella. Nothing special, but there was one price tag. Something called 'member's pricing'. Not the price at the till. $4 more, and the dispute at the till was dealt with fairly. What is this 'member's pricing'? Is this Safeway?response / report this review -

IKEA is an interesting creature. While at its core it's a furniture store, I find myself able to spend a large portion of my day here wandering the aisles sitting on couches and looking at table lamps without any intention of buying anything. The food is great for the price and location; definitely get some meat balls while you're here. Whether you actually need some well-priced Swedish home furnishing or just want to spend a day picturing your dream apartment this is a good place to go.

I-KEE-A. The best and most affordable furniture and housewares store.
Generally you're required to assemble furniture yourself. This keeps costs down and I'm all for it. You can pay a fee to have them assemble it and/or deliver.
The restaurant opens earlier than the rest of the store, and I'd recommend going early on weekends to beat the crowds.
I renovated an entire kitchen and bathroom through IKEA and was impressed overall with the experience and ease.response / report this review -

What's not to love about IKEA!?! This store has a nice layout and helpful staff. Their cafeteria is really nice, I liked the little play area for young kids.

Always surprised me for details convenient and services they offer. Food court upgraded and looking nice. Staff are knowledgeable and helping. It is a family shopping, dining and comfortable place to be.

Hassle free exchanges and returns. Good variety of modern looking furniture for decent price. Well thought in any detail. Good lighting selection and natural yellow color bulbs. Love it!

Love this location!
Returns are so easy. Great prices. Food is cheap and its also so nice to have a snack while waiting for orders to be picked when the shopping is done.
We built our first kitchen with their help and it looks fabulous!
We bought the appliances elsewhere much cheaper or I'd give 5 stars.
