Cool hotel close to downtown featuring vintage styled rooms. 2 classic vans used for shuttles, free bike & longboard loans to guests.
Small diner located in the main lobby. No coffee offered in the rooms, but always fresh, free coffee available in the lobby.
Next trip we will be trying to book the vintage Airstream trailer they have on site to stay in.

I loved staying at Hotel Zed. The decor is fun and wild. The staff is super helpful and friendly. And the food at the Ruby is delicious!

Hotel is trying to be different with retro atmosphere. Clean and comfortable with a good restaurant. A budget type hotel, but comfortable. No air in our standard room, but fans were provided unlike similar but more expensive lodgings. Would stay again.

We stayed here on a short visit to Victoria. It was a fun hotel and we loved it. A lot of fun decor and a great atmosphere. We borrowed a couple of the bikes they offer and went around town for a little bit. I do wish I had brought swim wear to at least try the water slide. Only thing I would like is if they had a curtain so that when you are showering you have a little privacy. Otherwise a great place to stay.

It's a sweet retro budget hotel. Three of us stayed in the cottage, a fully sized two bedroom suite with kitchen and living room. There was also a porch which was wonderful to sit on in the evenings. The shuttle was an added bonus as it picked us up from Victoria and took us to our wedding the next day. Expect budget, no frills, fun accommodations. Staff, specifically Carmen on the front desk and John who drove the shuttle were kind, quirky, and helpful. There's an airstream you can stay in, a pool, and a water slide.

What an amazing vacation! The hotel staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Rooms were artsy and retro. Hotel included shuttle, bike rental (huge bonus), pool, sauna, hot tub, and ping pong tables. Would absolutely highly recommend anyone to stay here during your visit.

Cool retro look motel style accommodation that is very colourful. The rooms are basic but the beds are comfortable. The TV was pretty big. There is a hot tub, pool and water slide which we enjoyed plus free coffee and free shuttle to downtown in a VW 1970s van. Service was good. Location is close to galloping goose trail and they have free bikes.

This is an awesome retro styled hotel. Right on the main drag, has a ping pong room, pool with the "Zedinator" water slide and a restaurant called the Ruby. Very colorful and clean! Staff was friendly and helpful. Family and pet friendly. They even have a shuttle to downtown Victoria that is a restored Volkswagen Van. Comic books in the room were a fun touch!

We stayed for a short, two-night family trip to Victoria, and The Zed was perfect. We didn't have our car but the hotel is conveniently located to various shops and restaurants, had a free vintage VW van as a shuttle, and is on the main bus route for downtown. It even has free bike rentals! Our son loved the games room, pool, and even typing on the vintage typewriters, while my wife and I enjoyed the great food at The Ruby restaurant. Great vintage decor and vibe! I bet we'll be back the next time in Victoria.

Cute little old remodelled motel. The place has been redone to look 60s mod. Bright blocks of color and retro tech everywhere. It's a good value place to stay though certainly not high end by any means. It's a short 5 minutes to downtown by car. We would probably stay here again , though we like to try new places which is how we found this place. Also a great little restaurant in the lobby too.
