Wow! Cable car ride up from North Vancouver. Fantastic view! You can hike up - the grind, but you need to be fit.
Lots to do once you get up, bars and restaurants.

Such a magical place both in winter and summer time! Love coming here for a hike or snowboarding. They also have a great dining experience on the top of the mountain. Definitely recommend!

We have visited the mountain on early ski season, still great enough for both beginning and advanced skiers. Besides the ski activities, the view for Great Vancouver metropolitan is also spectacular. The only disappointed thing is the bear went to sleep during our visit. Beware that the ski package rental is not included any pants and jackets. You need to bring your own or rent extra.

I wanted to give a rating of 0 stars out of 5 but that was not an option. What a waste of time and money. I paid $50 for a lift ticket and there is absolutely nothing to do once you get up there. Everything is over priced, and some of the staff are quite rude. The skating rink is terrible, the walk ways are dangerous, and the food is expensive. The only thing to do was watch a 2010 national geographic movie about bears. This is supposed to be a major attraction of Vancouver, instead its just a major disappointment. Grouse mountain should be ashamed. If your not doing alpine activities, there is nothing to do, and if you are doing alpine activities, spend the extra money and go to Cypress or Whistler. I'll never go back.

Accessible by free shuttle leaving from Canada place. The hike is steep and kinda hard, but so worth it. We all appreciated the drink on the top, with the stunning view. The descent in cable car is 10$, and believe me your legs will thank you for paying that ride!

Just loved every bit of Grouse Mountain. Not to miss the Windmill and the Lumber Jack Show. The two bears provide an attraction. The restaurant too serves pretty good food though its mostly occupied. Would love to visit it again

Awesome views. It's most economical to get the full pass at the bottom if you plan to go to the top of the windmill. You can walk up the hill after the trolley ride and avoid paying for the ski lift ride if you want. Lumber jack show was well done very funny and entertaining. Pet grouse at top of mountain was following a guy around it was funny to see. I let it peck at my hand, it was cool.

I'm a local that goes up about twice a week doing the grind. I don't ski here but am an avid skier and hear it's decent from other skiers who love the transit. The facilities up here are a great place to take anyone visiting Vancouver and the West Coast as a snap shot of where we live. It can get very busy in the summer season but they know how to manage crowds.

Highly recommended hike for anyone interested in sweating out stairs, rocks, roots, trails, and steep inclines. Don't wear flip flops! I saw some on the trail. One way trail. No turning back. Plenty of amenities at the top. None on the trail. Bring plenty of water. Shady but tough uneven uphill trek.

Wow what a place! Absolutely breathtaking views and only half hour from Vancouver downtown. About $C40 to go up to the restaurant/ski base. Saw lots of kids /families going up for a spot of skiing. There are even a couple of rescued grizzlies in the area which can be seen (were still hibernating or in their cave when we were there). Def worth a visit.

Awesome place for family! I highly recommend the Lumberjack show and Birds in Motion Demonstration. On a sunny day, pay the $4 extra to go up the Peak chairlift! It's such a lovely and unique view into Vancouver!

Beautiful place, if its sunny! We went on a rainy day so could not go up to the wind turbine. Otherwise great place! Awe-inspiringly beautiful. Especially the 5km long zip line!

A great activity and a fun competitive climb if you're in a group. We got to the top in less than an hour and went with a local who swiped in at the start of the climb and again at the top. Interesting watching the times appear on the screens for those with the membership cards. The cable car back down was fun, but it was cloudy so we couldn't really appreciate the view. Go early, it was very busy

Grouse Mountain is one of my favorite locations to explore and photograph! A great view of Vancouver and amazing sunsets from here. In the winter, you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice skating and just being up on a snowy mountain. In the summer, you can visit with the 2 resident grizzly bears, watch the lumberjack show, take in a Birds in Motion performance or go for a hike. The food at the top is pricey, but there are many choices to choose from. There's also a coffee bar, gift shop and sports store. There's usually a long lineup to take the gondola down and it's hard to find parking. My advice for locals who will go at least a few times per year is to buy a seasons pass and parking pass. You can save a lot of money this way. Sometimes, there's discounts on seasons passes around Christmas.
