Went on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted with a huge crowd - they opened for 30 more minutes past the usual closing hour because of the crazy amount of people that day! This is a super family-friendly place and I mean only family-friendly. It is filled with activities that are for kids and the only one besides the corn maze that caught our attention was the paintball activity, but unfortunately they charge extra on top of the admission and we weren't able to try it out because it was closed before the closing hour. Thought the admission was a little over priced since we only wanted to visit the corn maze - which is great for photos! Wished they would charge separately for the corn maze.

This post is specifically for schools considering Downey’s as a class trip. Be advised that there are no proper washroom facilities. There are only outhouses which aren’t appropriate for 4 and 5 years olds to use on their own. Also, I understand peak seasons but it’s not fair to jam more schools and students than the lunch rooms can accommodate. We had children sitting on the floors eating their lunches because there weren’t enough chairs.

This is a great place to go in the fall for pictures, pumpkins or for some fall activities. There is a large selection of pumpkins that very in sizes to purchase right out in front of the farm. And for a small fee you can go around back to partake in some fall activities like corn mazes, fun houses, petting zoos and go karting. This place is great for all ages to enjoy.

Very cute farm. After having such a city lifestyle if you want to distract yourself from the busy Toronto life this place is a nice place to enjoy some fresh apples wine pumpkin picking etc. I know several parents bring their kids here but as an adult I enjoyed my visit to this place.

-free range goats and sheep
-big parking

Con:
-no visa or debit for hot dogs drinks etc.
-short ride for the wagon ride

Great bakery and place for visit with kids attraction. Very good organization, and attention to customers. Not so great as farm market: choice is limited, prices are high.

Excellent family farm, with excellent, friendly and always happy staff. Caring, loving and always responsive to customer's assistance. Staff is very well tamed and know how to treat children, amazing produce area, tasty autumn and winter treats also summer goods to keep customers satisfied all year round. Fun and exciting Harvest Fest, clean environment with healthy animals that are friendly, and the food is always fresh, with affordable prices.

Farm is great but when they state they close at 5 pm on the website and physically on the farm, some rude sassy white girl with dreadlocks states the cashier closes at 4 and she wanted us to pay her cash directly which I did not feel comfortable doing as she was probably going to pocket the money, I was with my 23 month old son and you would think there would have been some more respect from the employees of this farm guess not and it's a shame because it's a great farm but the staff is horrible.

I haven't been in a long time, and was so glad to see that Downey's is thriving. I like to pick my own berries for jams and pies and the prices for picking are really quite reasonable. The place is very clean and inviting. Everyone seems to be having a good time. Staff is warm and patient. Just love the place.

Great place! Friendly staff.
Strawberry Picking was light on the farm market side, so a staff member asked us to go to the farm across the road.
They have tractor wagon shuttle from parking to the strawberry fields. We enjoyed our tractor ride.
Strawberries were so sweet and delicious that we ended up picking 4 full baskets. Very reasonably priced, would definitely recommend this place.

I would pay the overpriced ticket any day to jump on those giant pillows. Never remove the jumping pillows please. The goats are a bit aggressive but this place is always such fun. It gets crowded and you have to wait in line for those awesome dirt bikes but go during quiet times and reap the benefits. Every bit commercialized but hey this is Toronto, it's easily accessible from the city and little kids get plenty of fresh air and exercise. We go every year.

Went during the fall to pick pumpkins. Pleasantly surprised how many different activities there were for all ages - petting zoo, corn maze, go carts and jumping bubble. It is a bit pricey, considering how many activities there are. It's worth it if you do all the activities. The food market was delicious and lots of different variety of pumpkins. Get the kettle corn, it's made fresh on site, yum!

I find the farmers market and the actual pumpkins a little on the expensive side but I enjoy the experience. The donuts are amazing especially if you get them when They are warm and fresh. A great way to spend an afternoon. We did the maze last year which was fun as well. It gets really busy on the weekends so I would recommend going when it opens.

I enjoyed the tractor ride but the $9 per person gets way to steep for what it actually is. Especially considering you are obligated to enter with young children. The farmer's market had some nice produce and others in my group got a hot lunch they liked.

It was nice for the first-time novelty but to have to pay $27 for my whole family when all th adults can do is the tractor and sit on the sidelines is ensuring there won't be a second time.
