Grackle Caffè is a uniquely charming place where you can enjoy your coffee (regular or espresso) or tea with a dessert while listening (not sure is it indie or older folk rock with a twist) music. A European may feel here at home. Surely it is a place to visit if near.

Rated as THE best coffee stop on our Avondale Group rides. Amanda and her crew are always looking at THE best customer service to whomever steps into the Grackle Coffee House. Friendly and welcoming all locals, cyclists or people passing through Main Street. If only I could get Grackle coffee in my neighbourhood in Toronto (North York) - I would be in there everyday if I could.

Nowhere that good for miles around. The coffee, the food, the ambiance, the art, the staff, all excellent.

What an awesome place! The staff are so energetic and friendly - reminds me of a coffee shop in a really hip city. Actually, it makes Schomberg a really hip city. 10 stars for this place!

    The Good:

    - Quaint and beautiful coffee shop.

    - Quality of the coffee is at the utmost, highest quality. Always fresh.

    - Excellent variety of food choices for everyone, especially vegans.

    - Eclectic, funky and enjoyable artwork

    The Bad:

    - They take cash only. Losing out on a huge customer base

    - Food items can be overpriced. $7.75 plus tax for a grilled cheese sandwich. $12.75 + tax for a grilled cheese sandwich with a soup. The quality of the food is incredible.

    - The owner is rough around the edges and is very rude. Customer service goes a long way. There was a review on here about her talking bad about customers. That is so true.

My verdict, allow your customers to also pay with credit card and debit. The owner should step out of the picture and let her amazing staff run the shop.

Recommended if you want strange but cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and a lovely cup of cocoa.

Pretty unique atmosphere that's somewhat unexpected, but key to the overall off-beat vibe. Huge fan of their cappuccinos, certainly one of the best I've ever had! They use quality milk in their beverages. Their baked goodies are also on fleek! Love it!

Grackle cafe is a great place to hang out! Their coffee is the best in the west, Rachel - happy birthday - and the other servers are helpful and super friendly, and the homemade food is great. We had burritos with a chutney that's to die for, and the desserts, mostly made by local people, are simply divine. Good prices too. We spent a very happy lunchtime and my adopted aunt, who lives in Schomberg, discovered thst she loved the food too! All in all, a great experience. Just wish they were closer to Montreal. We'll be back!
