Bar b q items were fine. Goat curry was so so, less meat and more onions. Naan was good.
Customer services was alright. Food arrived in reasonable time.

Very old establishment and quiet famous among locals. Food quality for punjabi foods is above average at best. Either the food will be too spicy or too flat but you will hardly find anything with true medium spice. Also dont always expect to get what you ordered from menu the way described better check with your server. For example you might have ordered something from the menu indicated as boneless and what you get is totally opposite.
Quantity is good for single person as you can see in the photo is one boneless goat biryani.

    Overall: 7/10

Aside from the Restaurant needing a major Gordon Ramsey overhaul of it'd decor which is very ugly and past its time, the overall dining experience was good. If you eat at any of the Booths, the table has an awkwardly big table leg which makes it difficult in finding a comfortable spot to place your feet on the floor. Food experience was okay. We ordered the Butter Chicken which was a bit salty, the Nan and Biryani. We haven't been here in a while and I would recommend this place for a hunger fill.

The sweets on the other hand are delicious and fresh. They are constantly busy here so the ordering of food is a bit of a wait.

Used to be a great place for dining and Indian snacks. Visited it a few hours back. Same old furniture. Extremely filthy cushion backs. Dead slow and poor service.

Quality of food is gone down the drain on all items.

Revised menu pricing is very high to the food quantity and quality. Very bad experience. Everything in a restaurant can be overseen, but if the quality on the best selling items is compromised, good luck !!

The owners should seriously consider damage control on all fronts.

You are not a 5 star restaurant from any fronts ,why is your pricing more than some of Toronto best Indian restaurants.

Good luck. I hope this review is taken seriously.

One of the better places for Indian food. Good quality food at reasonable prices. Very busy on the weekends. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian dished available. They provide catering service also.

1* bcoz its reataurant. Their main thing quality in "kwality" missing. Price high but not worthy food. Almost same price as in tandoori flames. Bought 3 take-outs. Rush near counter area takeout people there+ dine in people waiting there+ staff members there (messy experience). Don't expect freshness from any food accept indian breads they make other then that wasting money.
Counter lady said to near working girl keep your hand tight on 3 vegetables they serve in plastic platter. Common sense how much could be more on those small pocket size space in platter. I won't visit there next time.

A friend of mine got samosas from this shop and they were full of oil. No taste or flavour except the heaviness of oil. Apparently they re-fried them!!! We threw the samosas in garbage. Brar sweets is much better place than this.

Service is terrible, do not expect anything or anyone hospitable. The food is decent, feels like the establishment is dropping the ball. The prices on certain dishes have increased.

Taste wise the food is just about ok , though expensive than other Indian restaurants in brampton and the customer service is really pathetic here! I guess they changed some of their waiters recently but still some of the new ones are not that good

Best place to eat Indian food with a decent mix of Punjabi and South Indian dishes on the menu.

    Food quality is consistently good.
    Quick service.

The food is good service is very much on the border of average and bad (thus 3 stars). If you know what to order, you would get good food. I've been here a bunch of times. Biriyani is a bad idea. To my surprise, good south indian. I would try some punjabi next time. But it's not like this is the only place for good punjabi food.

We went there yesterday for dinner. As we had late lunch we did not order much. We ordered gol gappa, chana bhatora and amritsari dosa. Gol gappa was not good, very plain, anyone can make that at home and not enough also. chana bhatora was good but dosa was very tasteless. the sambar and cocnut chutney were so dull that I could not have it more than once. They have fast service but quality of the service is poor.
The waiter was very rude and do not know how to talk. The ambience is crowdy, noisy and not clean. Not coming ever again and will not suggest anyone.

This restaurant was mediocre, not worth coming back. Save your money and hit up Brars, you won't be disappointed. Their prices do not reflect their food quality and lack of flavour. Their sweets are not fresh, somewhat stale and sitting there for quite some time. They have several staff members who are quite strange, there were two staff members confused about a simple takeout order and continuously consulted each other in a awkward manner in front of us. There are several better Indian/Punjabi food establishments in Brampton & Mississauga that will give you your bang for your buck!

Bad service. Good food. Food is always good, warm and has a perfect level of spice. However, the service is total garbage. We sat at the table, a single menu given for five people, no plates, spoons or anything given and our food came straight up first. We were kinda left there for 10 minutes trying to wave a server over but they refused to make eye contact even with us kinda calling at them for some help. The food however was amazing, I just wish the service was up to par.
