Absolutely fantastic, I really needed help in writing a resume as I was planning on doing a career change, and my resume was chaotic, I was unsure what to include and how to present myself in a new field. I was stuck, frustrated and unsure of how to get to the next level. I knew that I needed to move forward and I also knew I had the skills but with work schedule, life's schedule and unsure about how to quantify my skill set I reached out to Doc Doctor.

Right from the start I had an immediate response and breakdown to all the questions I had. They took their time to make sure I had my resume and cover letter focused on the job I wanted. Checked in to see if I was happy with the results.

Evan did everything I had hoped for and then some. When I first hired DocDoctor I was making a career change and didn’t know precisely what kind of job I’d be applying for. I had experience in a number of areas including advertising, film production, and customer service. So he looked at all my previous resumes and used that information to create two separate, concise versions of my new resume that would highlight my skills for different types of jobs I might be applying to. He sent them back to me for review, and then made some adjustments based on my feedback.

One of my two options was for customer service-based jobs, and when I later decided to pursue a particular subset of customer service (flight attendant), Evan reworked my resume again to include components specific to the job postings for that role (and based on previous experience writing resumes for a breadth of careers, including flight attendant specifically). And it worked like a charm! I’ve applied with four airlines in the past few weeks and so far I’ve entered the interview process for three of them.

With most companies using ATS bots to screen all the resumes that get submitted, it’s vital to have the right layout and keywords to get through that phase. I always knew I would excel in the interview process, but I needed professional help getting through the digital gatekeepers first, and Evan‘s professional resume did that for me. Now it’s just up to me to seal the deal, as it should be.

Great service and everything delivered in a timely manner. I was on the fence to do this but it paid off and getting more interviews at competitive companies.

Keep in mind there was a bit of back and forth for edits but that’s to be expected as they need feedback to perfect the resume. The resume looks old school but they explained this is best practice because it needs to be formatted this way because it’s optimized towards the hiring software companies use. I used to think bright pretty resumes were the way to go but now I’m using my new resume and getting more interviews.
