  We ordered 2 laffa wraps and 2 variety plates, none of them looked like the pictures on their website. The service was very slow, the man who took our order was a bit rude, expecting us to know the menu by heart with all the options that go inside the laffa. Impossible. For overall experience leaving 4, although the food was pretty delicious.

  I have been to North York location several times and it was good. First time at Markham, and I have to say, food was inedible. My son got kefta, which was this dry, burnt lump. He asked if he can bin it, I said fine, maybe he’s being picky. Then I opened my laffa. The bread was burnt, bitter crisp. I bit into it and it was a laffa soup because the super thin and burnt pancake like substance didn’t hold the toppings. Big mess. I would understand if they were busy and didn’t notice a couple of burnt items but there were hardly any customers. Maybe that should have been a clue, on a Saturday evening. Great location, terrible food.

  We ordered a large chicken shawarma plate and a large chicken shawarma lafta wrap for delivery through Uber Eats.
  
  The wrap arrived fine but the plate was a disappointment. Half the chicken was completely burnt black and the rest tasted mediocre at best. We called the restaurant to inquire. They tried to tell us at first that’s how chicken shawarma is supposed to be. I refuted this point and said we had ordered several times before and it was never like this. I mentioned that the chicken in the wrap was fine as well. They then apologized and said they’d be more careful in the future. When I asked for a refund I was deferred to Uber Eats.

  Ended up here when the restaurant we meant to go to was full. The staff was very friendly and the space was clean. There were just a handful customers on a friday evening. The food is well priced and delicious!! Falafel small dinner plate was $10.49. Small is a good portion. We also got some sides for $4. I also really enjoyed the soothing piano music in the background. I can't wait to come back! (Photo taken after I ate some of it.

  Came hour before closing no rice …. But looks like a warm family owned.
  kitchen and equipment looks clean
