Very nice hotel for our Toastmasters fall conference. I'm wishing I had the opportunity to stay the night and test the pool and hot tub. The sound engineer they have on staff knows his stuff and the equipment worked perfectly for our event. The staff are very accommodating and were helpful when we were in a pinch.

Attended to help set up a conference. Conference room was booked year in advance but there was a scheduling issue. Hotel staff were very kind and helpful in coming to a solution. Public areas seen such as the conference room, lobby, lobby bathrooms, etc were all very tidy.

Skip it! This is not what I thought a Clarion Hotel would look like. We walked into lobby and the whole place smelled like smoke even our non-smoking hotel room. The hallways were narrow and dark and the hotel room was too small for two queen beds - we could barely move. The ceilings are low and have some sort of strange grey/white stucco on them. We checked out immediately and of course were not given a refund but we were told we could go online and complain. Sorry but never again Clarion Hotel!

This place seemed classy and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Free bike rentals made exploring Medicine Hat easy and fun. Free breakfast in the morning was a nice added bonus. Close-by to everything you need. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

A nice place to stay but during our stay the pool was closed and hot water in our room was scarce. The hotel has been fixed up but still feels old. The restaurant serves amazing dishes. PS Watch your nose when you walk up to the automatic doors in the lobby - they open 's l o w l y'.

It was a nice place to stay for sure, the staff was all very nice but one thing for sure is that you can tell it is an old building in new clothes. But other than that it was a pretty good stay. I would not hesitate to tell someone else to stay there if they were in Medicine hat for a weekend.

Beautiful lobby. Had a pool. The room was very nice. It was very spacious and comfortable. There was a free breakfast and discounts at the restaurant as well. Nice service and a really nice place to stay.

Highlight of my time there was Thomas, the gentleman at the front desk who was extraordinarily kind and helpful. Definitely man our days brighter whenever we spoke with him or had questions for him (keep it up)!
Really enjoyed our stay here. There are complimentary bikes for guests to use to go for a nice bike around Medicine Hat, a pool with a hot tub, free laundry (quite helpful!), a fancy restaurant attached to the hotel guests get some sort of discount (don't recall how much).
Either way, the vibe here is on point and I'll probably be staying here again when I stop here Medicine Hat again.response / report this review -

Loved staying at this hotel. I have been on the road for 3 weeks doing a promotional your and I need places to do my laundry. This hotel has free laundry, breakfast and provides bikes as well! Awesome hotel for the price. Also has a lovely lobby with a fire place and water fountain. And the cucumber water in the lobby is also a nice touch.

Clarion provided us with a beautiful room. King size bed with a 2 person bathtub and a separate shower.

Not nearly as exciting of an event. Thought there was a coin expo. Turned out to be just two people buying coins from people. They gave no information about the coins we had just gave us a price

Very happy with my recent stay. Neighbouring room was very loud and the hotel staff moved me to a quiet part of the hotel without hesitation. Was able to get a great sleep. Oh and the restaurant is ways great, and they have a new chocolate cake which is very yummy.
