I've stayed in both the loft condo and a regular hotel room and both were amazing. Soft sheets, friendly staff, and beautiful surroundings!

Very nice rooms, above expectations. Food at the Bugler was a little over priced, and the cafe. But otherwise everything was beautiful and comfortable.

Frustrated with Elkwater Lake Lodge & Resort. I would NOT recommend staying in there cabins especially #320 Rustic Cabin. My Family stayed for 3 nights August 14,15,16 and checking out on the 17th, we arrived at 4 as that was checkin the cabin was not ready yet which wasnt a big deal we were told house keeping was just cleaning well appon arrive roughly around 4:30 the cabin was not cleaned still had food in fridge from last occupancy (disgusting we shouldnt have to clean up rotten food), the carpet had multiple pet or water/spill stains all over. Water leaked across kitchen floor from the Refrigerator into bedrooms daily reported and nothing was done except towels to mop it up. Tv didn't work. Black mold in bathroom and bedroom throughout the frame work. Very out dated roof needs repair, sofa bed very old and dirty. Windows were disgusting with dead bugs and cobwebs. The shared BBQ had no propain which me and my hasband had to go fill, front end staff did reimburse us but still not are job. I'm currently disputing the charges as when I tried to check out there was no one there other than front desk agent, manager/owner wouldn't answer phone. As I paid with my credit card they refunded the entire stay at time of checkout..Then had the balls to charge my card September 2 2017 for a different amount and of course im disputing it.

The rooms are really nice the only thing in the lofts os that they need a fan in the loft bedroom and blinds on thetop window and firm beds.

Had lunch at the restaurant. Service was a little slow but the food was well worth the wait time. It felt like perhaps they might have been under staffed. I would recommend them despite the wait time.

Condos are clean and spacious. Pool is large, although a touch cold. The town of elk water is very cute, friendly and very enjoyable for the weekend. Overall great place.

Ate at Redwood Steakhouse. The service was terrible - there was one other table present aside from us, and we were rushed through the meal. The steak was horrid. We had each asked for rare steak, and when we cut into it, it was grey. Not overcooked, but grey. There was so much pepper on it that it overwhelmed the entire meal. We both had to scrape this pepper coating off of the steak. It is definitely not worth the (or any) money.

Very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and pet friendly. Saltwater pool is a nice touch.
