Visited Charlee's for the lunch buffet and for dinner a few times. Always really good food for a decent price. Very cozy place with tons of parking space. I highly recommend the Tosino Burger - so good.

Awful service. Server was unfriendly, hair was found in the food. Nothing done about it. Idk if id go back, bread smelt sour also.

Used to have the best wings in town. The last 2 times I went there by they were way over cooked and cheap on the sauce. Might have gotten a new cook or something. New waitress doesn't come around as often as the last ones neither. Used to be a great place if you can stomach a filthy bathroom but it's just getting worse. Too bad. Now I have to find somewhere else for wings.

Neighborhood cafe that offers surprisingly good food. Not a fancy place but it has nice quaint feel and decor. It has a separate lounge with vlts and tvs. It isn't easy to find but it's worth looking for.

I had the opportunity of visiting this place for the first time the other day, it was a great experience.
The waitress that we had was amazing very engaging and hospitable. With so many choices for Dives and diners in Winnipeg this restaurant is a wholesome little Community Place that serves a really good bang for the buck when it comes to food.
I had the chicken fingers with fries and by far they were the biggest and best chicken fingers that you could expect in any restaurant here in Winnipeg. The other gentleman in the party all had amazing and very tempting items off the menu that I would easily try when I come back to Charlies.response / report this review -

The interior is nicer than your average diner. Simple but clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The buffet was OK at best, but it was also pretty cheap. The food was well prepared, diverse, and tasty, but some dishes were dried right out. The chicken skewers in particular were tough as jerky. Considering we showed up at noon and the buffet starts at 1130, that was pretty disappointing. The menu items looked considerably better though. They've got a little bit of everything. The Filipino and Korean breakfast items were nice to see.
Seems like a great spot for locals but there's not much of a reason (that I saw) to travel across the city for it.response / report this review -

It's an OKAY lounge to go to for a few cold ones after a long day. Can sometimes be a tiny bit of a rougher crowd, but nothing too bad as with most lounge/bars in that area. Good waitresses and EXCELLENT wings! Pool tables and a jute box as well.

Amazing value for all menu items. A little hard to find. Great breakfast. Good lunch buffet for an amazing price. Cozy. Friendly staff. The neighborhood is a little bit dicey but the restaurant is kept nice.

I enjoy coming here and spending time in the lounge. The food is great and reasonably priced too. Karaoke on Friday nights with Jewels and her crew and Family Karaoke on Sunday afternoons. . .well what can I say, it is awesome. The staff are very polite and friendly.
