I came on to write a review about my experience on Tuesday, and have to laugh at some of the resent ones. Nobody comes on to read reviews about someone who no longer works there, seems to me some people have personal vendettas. I wonder about these posters. Are they personally known to Amanda and have ulterior motives to be posting such reviews?
It works both ways, and fact of the matter is if you loved her so much you would have wrote a positive review when she still worked there. As a manager of a similar establishment, I can assure you, the good ones count as much as the bad ones, and when there are multiple complaints it is something to be addressed, but usually never the full reason for letting someone go. You'd think people would understand there is always more to it then what you see.
On another note, I was in for wings and beer on Tuesday night and they were probably the best wings I've had in a long time! They were fast, drinks were faster, and service was great! I enjoyed their costumes and think its wonderful smittys let's them dress up! Overall awesome experience. So no worries about losing some negative Nancy's, this satisfied custumer will definitely be back!

I, as well, am very sorry to see Amanda gone. She has a beautiful personality, a wonderful server and can't imagine her being rude to anyone. I wonder about the posters that gave such bad reviews.
Are they personally known to Amanda and for some reason they have an ulterior motive for posting bad reviews on her?

If so you..Smittys should take this into consideration before you believe online reviews. Anyone can post what they want over personal conflicts.
I, as well, will not be visiting this particular Smittys location.

Very disappointed to hear that one of the sweetest servers was let go because of these Google reviews. Shame on you Smitty's for allowing public slander run your business. I definitely will not be returning to your establishment for your bad judgement.

The restaurant was busy at the time. The service was fast and friendly. I only gave it 4 stars because the wings were not tossed in sauce. They were placed in the basket and the sauce poured on top

This rating is due entirely to the unacceptable exchange I overheard between the manager and server. Our server was attentive and pleasant and unfortunately dealing with two separate customers who were unable to pay their bills. A distressing situation for anyone but the manager proceeded to tell the server to "take a pill", essentially dismissing their feelings, and being completely disrespectful. So completely unacceptable to talk to anyone in this manner, ever. That experience basically ended my visits to Smittys. Shameful.

Friendly, quick service. The wings came within 15 minutes the beer was cold and came in 5, it was a pretty busy night so the ladies serving did a great job and the chef did great on the dry wings, with so many flavours and the deal on Thursdays, beer and wings for a good price!

Took my wife out for wings night on Thursday and met up with a few guys from one of my car clubs.
Bar none best service I have had in months and I eaten out almost every day for over a decade.
In fact service was so fast we even got our wings before our drinks came and the drinks were on the table in under 4 minutes of ordering. Will definitely go back to this location in the future.

OMGwhat a horrible place!! They had two servers at the bar..si full of them selves..they were very bothered to see us coming in.took forever to take our order..and after 20 minutes waiting still no wings !!when we asked one of them she yelled saying it takes over 20 minutes to cook wings!!!!!! Very rudevery miserble .dont go there on Monday nights..and i will never return to this place

Nice atmosphere, good food, great service. Sports bar has big screens and patio is pretty comfortable in the summer. Good prices on good, and always drink specials.

Good wings in a cafeteria style setting. This is a great place to go if you want to feel like you're not actually in public and nor see anyone you know. The washrooms are usually clean. I like use the first stall early and often early and often if you know what I mean

I have to say the staff is great, the food is top notch. But we sure miss having yvette as the bartender she makes our visits a fun and uplifting experience. Keeps us coming backwould be nice to have her back as bartender she does a very good job!!

I can say that I enjoy coming during the week with friends and family for wings and a hockey game. The staff are always pleasant and can even talk sports with the best of them. Beer is beer and the wings are always consistent and tasty. That is what we came for and we have not been disappointed. Great upgrades on the televisions. Only thing missing is a good hockey package for some of those games that aren't involving Canadian teams.
