Food was delicious. And service was good. I enjoyed it.
Two breakfasts in a row with hair in them, got my order wrong on day 1, causing my girlfriend to need to dine alone, much to her dismay, before I got mine. Not a very relaxing weekend at the sparestaurant ruined what was essentially a 600 dollar stay, not counting ferries and time taken off work. She had been waiting years to come to the resort- Cedars ruined it.
This place is good. Went here for one of the buffets. Food was high-quality and the selections is great. They seem to hire lots of temp or inexperienced staff for the events/buffet meals, but it doesn't detract from the overall experience.
Great place to have a bite too eat with a good 3 course meal deal. Good breakfast too.
Adam is a really good and friendly guys . The food was little bit later but he make my food free.
My wife and I dined there about a month ago. Service was slow, especially seeing as we got there just when they had opened the dining room. I ordered the Beef Tenderloin Burger, which turned out to be a very small (`3 oz) piece of steak on a bun. Not ground steak, btw - just steak. I sent it back, rather baffled by what I received. The waitress came back ten minutes later with my "burger". She explained that the order was correct. As I was pretty hungry, I ended up eating it. To her credit, she deducted the price of my meal from the bill. On the plus side, my wife enjoyed her salmon quite a bit.
3 of us ordered the Salmon but we couldn't eat it because it was so overcooked. They apologized and took them back. They tried again and this time they were all raw. The third try was just about as bad but my wife and I decided to eat the outside of the small salmon and leave the raw inside untouched. Our friend requested a 4th attempt which again was bad but he had given up. They didn't charge us for the 10 salmon failures and we will never ever go back. If you can't cook a small piece of salmon ($25) after 10 attempts it may be a sign to switch careers.
Was at the restaurant on Friday night (May 26 2017) and was blown away by the service I received! The food was hot, delicious (especially the meatball appetizer) but most of all our server was next level fantastic! The room started getting busy with a wedding party getting bigger and louder as the drinks were being poured, our server (who was also taking care of the wedding party) moved us to a more intimate setting and even took care of our dessert even though we had not complained or asked for anything (as we have been in loud wedding parties too ;P)
Worst dinner ever. My wife ordered something that waitress recommended. I ordered vegetarian dish. Only thing I can tell you this restaurant is my worst experience in my life. I ve been to many restaurants trough Europe and North America and this was worst dinner ever. If I was waiter I wd be shamed to serve such food. She acknowledged that food is terrible but looked more that she enjoyed because people sending food back. Never again. If you like to be disappointed go there and order food. That is only thing they can do properly. Pasta was not cooked. Veggies looked terrible. that was my experience and as I see many others had simmilar experience.
we liked the setting and the service. The biscuit and caesar salad were very good so we looked forward to our meals. What a disappointment. The catch of the day, sockeye salmon was dry. The 3 green beans were hard and stringy and the carrots were not done properly. The rib eye steak ($36) was pathetic. Both desserts were awful, pear tart and the brownie. How disappointing ! You need to hire better cooks or at least purchase better quality foods if you are charging such prices.
Great place! The food is fantastic, the people are great and the place is beautiful
Very good food. Our server, a young Frenchman, was pleasant, professional and attentive. Decor is modern West coast with local paintings available for purchase. Colouring pages and crayons for kids and they ate for free. Carpet is the only let down: I recognize stains from when we were here a year ago. Cedars Burger was on a fresh brioche bun, bacon jelly, and fresh handmade patty. Chicken BLT was simple but nicely done on a panini grill. Fresh handmade fries. Caesar salad had shavings of real parmesan.
Have eaten here three times this summer. Food has been ok. Sometimes better, sometimes worse. Service has always been good.
Once we complained about a steak and they removed it from the bill.
On my birthday they gave me a free dessert.
Nice feeling ambiance.
Will definitely go back.
