The rolls weren't bad. However, I had a negative experience. I ordered the jalapeño starter. Under one of the jalapeños, there was a quarter-sized black ball of sink scum. If you google "sink gunk," you'll find a picture of what it looked like. When I pointed out the problem to the server, she explained how it wasn't Sushi Nami's fault. Instead, it was the fault of the store where they buy the salad greens. Furthermore, the server told me that I could still eat the jalapeños on my plate.
I politely said that I didn't really want to eat the rest. They ended up taking the dish off of my bill, but that was it. Plus, she reinforced that it wasn't her fault. So, it wasn't just the gross thing in my food, but also the way the restaurant handled it. No discount, no nothing. Won't be back.
Fantastic special rolls Golden Bridge and the sushi pizza are my favorites "this time" but it's so hard to pick an overall favourite as they're so tastefully put together and delicious!
The owner comes over to greet us and staff are very attentive and friendly. I always take my friends here as I know they'll love the food and we'll get great service.
There was 10 people inside the restaurant and had to wait more than half hour for my two basic rolls. Really slow and bad service.
Great food slow service most times
Food was okay. Regular stuff, regular quantity. But way over priced. Churashi don for $26? Wonder what's so special about it
Nice place, good selections of food and taste awesome. Price is alright.
Good for and good service
I like getting take-out here, particularly their simpler rolls. I don't find their premium rolls are worth it and the service is a bit slow if you choose to eat in.
Very underrated. Great sushi and yes can be slow service at times but we'll worth it. Fav place on the North Shore.
Great Food,
Chicken Yakisoba is the best around.
Sushi is always firm and fresh, well made, not factory sushi.
sometimes the service is a little off, but they are always friendly and courteous.
