The pakora was superb! And the curry dishes were very flavourful too. Great price and service. Would come here often.
Overall pretty good food. One chicken curry ordered had great flavor but it was bone in chicken. Too deceiving and too much work and fuss when trying to enjoy the company I was busy taking apart the chicken. Butter chicken was great. Thali was good. Chicken Korma was good but looked totally unappetizing.
Visiting from the States and happened across this restaurant by accident. The food was fantastic. Ended up going back-to-back nights because it was awesome. Butter chicken and garlic nan DO IT!
Love Agra! Such quality food and friendly staff. I travel for this place. Its in central Burnaby and I'm in North Burnaby. They have an amazing lunch buffet too. Yum!
We were out for a walk planning to have sushi for dinner until we noticed the wonderful aroma from Agra Tandoori restaurant. We had amazingly tender, moist and crispy fish pakora for an appetizer (huge portion) as part of their July dinner for 2 special. Everything was delicious and the house red wine complemented the spices in the main courses very well. The price was unbeatable at 32.99 for 2 including wine! We were so impressed by the food, the friendly and attentive server and the value. Definite 5 stars from us!
Wonderful tasty food at very reasonable prices. Fresh and full flavor. Portions sizes are decent. I spent 3 months in India and this restaurant beats most of the ones I tried there. I can't wait to come back. Ambiance is very casual and not suitable for a romantic date. Come here for food.
Food is really good and staff very friendly. The place was busy, the service was pretty fast comparatively. When we went there last week, the food was a little salty.
Been hearing amazing things about this restaurant from many trusted Indian friends and craving for some authentic cooking, we hungry beasts came here after a long hike for dinner. I was overwhelmed by the wide range of menu, but luckily the menu stated very clearly what goes inside each dish. We were recommended to try some spicy lassi, which was so flavorful and not too sweet. Got my appetite ready, we ordered House combo to share. It was in perfect portion with great variety, and a good start to try what we like here. We were filled up quickly, and very satisfied with the combo. We ended with dessert and they were amazing, too. The pitaschio had a mild nutty flavor with soft texture, pairing nicely with the milk. Overall we had a great time. Would come back to try more dishes.
I enjoy the buffet with chicken Tandoori and butter chicken, and . all delicious authentic Indian dishes. Service is good and staff friendly. overall, good food and customer serviceI would go back, when I am in the area. :-)
Good food. Came out fast. Portions were big. Service was good too
The choices for the buffet were a bit on the limited side and portion wasn't as much however, the staff made sure each dish was refilled as quickly as possible. It would be nice to have samosas BUT the fries made up for it as they were pretty Bomb (especially when dipped in tamarind or butter chicken). Also, the staff was really friendly and welcoming. Absolutely affordable considering it was a buffet so 4 stars it is! Would I go here again? Possibly.. But I would like to try their menu next time :) worth a visit.
