Horrible customer experience. 1. Was over charged $50 for oil change on motorcycle.
2. Was not given details on what was inspected at time of oil change as promised by manager at the original time of booking. Only thing that was documented other than the oil change was set tire pressure ect. At time of pickup I asked the person in the service department if I could get a list of what inspections actually encompassed but he could not tell me/didn't know or was not willing to inquire for me.
3. At time of pick up the guy in the service department also mentioned the mechanic replaced a bolt on the oil filter cover plate, I inquired as to why/ how it was broken but he said he had no idea, Was not broken/ leaking oil prior to the scheduled service. After inspecting the new bolt myself on the oil filter cover plate I was shocked to see that had not replaced the broken bolt with the correct type ( the replacement was a regular stainless steal bolt and not a low composite bolt made to handle frequent heating and cooling). This has the potential to cause serious problems in the future in regards to the bolt either corroding in the socket or the oil escaping at pressure and running the engine dry of lubricant.
4. I also own a late model Honda Civic that I used to bring to Carlton Honda for the winter tire change over and every time the tire pressure was always an average of 5psi off.
I LOVE Honda cars and motorcycles but Carlton Honda has brought shame and dishonour to the Honda Family.

Brought my car here and they told me the transmission was shot, brought it back on a separate occasion and they told me the fly wheel and pressure plates on the clutch were done, but they said the transmission was fine, they want to charge me $2500 to fix just the clutch even though they told me the transmission also needed to be replaced but they won't tell me that again.

Horrible customer service. never take your vehicle here for insurance work. I called in a couple times to check on whether or not the vehicle was done, and spoke with a new person each time, who had no idea what was happening to my vehicle. But the worst of all was the manager was extremely rude once it was finished and made me pay out of pocket because he didnt want do his side of dealing with the insurance company to get the money from them. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
