Ahhh Yes relaxing and refreshing hot spring. Camping was available last I was here. Great spot to stop for a dip

I would never recommend or stay at this resort after a terrible experience with the staff there, and give them a 0 rating.
This summer my husband pre-booked a cabin with a request that it be handicap accessible and flat, as I am not able to go up stairs. We were assured that the cabins were flat and handicap accessible. We checked in and went to the cabin where we discovered a set of 5 stairs to access it. We returned to the desk and reminded them that we needed a flat access as some of the other cabins had. They said we would have to pay another $50 to upgrade, as those were 'family' cabins with 2 beds. We said no, we had been assured that the cabins were flat when we pre-registered and didn't feel another $50 was necessary. After much heated discussion with the clerk and manager, they implied we were lying because it didn't say we requested a handicap room in their computer.
Three weeks later they finally reimbursed us partially, but withheld $30 as a cancellation fee. We didn't cancel but had to leave as they wouldn't accommodate us, as they had originally stated that they could do. This is the worst experience we have ever had in many years of travelling all over the world.response / report this review -

Basically a warm swimming pool and a hot tub next to the highway run by a group (family?) of unfriendly, cold, and borderline rude Koreans (mostly the older lady). While it was nice to have a hot soak after a long day of hiking, I would not return here again and support this business. C'mon folks, you're in the HOSPITALITY business. Peace 'n' love :D

I have been to Canyon Hot Springs Resort many times. The pool is nice, and the campgrounds are clean. The springs are in the middle of the mountains. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the prices. It's privately owned, so you expect the prices to be a little higher, but they're a bit much.

Do not waste your money at this campsite! Horrible from beginning to end. I have never commented on anything yet, but here I am outraged. $ 36 for a location you can not choose, the manager with the audacity to tell us "do not worry, you're near the toilet and the sites are raised (lots of trees)!" Result: the toilets near which we were were dirty and the campsites are only plain grass sites without trees!
The icing on the cake, showers at $ 3 every 6 minutes for a pressure and temperature you can not adjust!
I continue, with the highway and the train that run right next door, and that you really hear a lot, the "hot springs" at $ 12.50 per person that are actually two small chlorinated pools with view On the parking lot and finally the staff and especially the manager who is really not friendly.
In short, the worst camping we've done (and we've done plenty since we've traveled across Canada from Montreal). A shame.response / report this review -

The hot springs include two pools - hot and cool. The pools themselves are great and have good views as well. The buildings are very beautiful, however the facilities are somewhat simple. Towels cannot be rented - only purchased. There is no water fountain, water must be purchased and it appeared the vending machine had been out of order for some time. Locks for lockers cannot be rented but must be purchased. Simple things such as these didn't detract from the overall experience, however.

Its all about the hot spring pool of course (which we really needed after long days of hiking!). Breakfast was a nice touch and getting to know the nice family that owned the resort was a nice plus. There are so many interesting stories out there. Recommended.

The hot springs were a great experience however they needed some attention as they were very old as were the showers and changing rooms inside.
The metal steps into the larger pool were very slippery and dangerous causing me to hurt my leg.
The camp site park for the RV was pleasant and quiet.
The laundry was also in need of an upgrade 2/4 washers working and the dryers were pretty much useless taking about 2 hours to dry one load.
Very clean site, if the upgrades were attended to we would return.response / report this review -

Beautiful location, friendly staff and owners, loved the hot springs. However, the cabin was a bit too rustic (no TV or AC, quite dark - too little lighting and the beds were too firm for our tastes). We wouldn't stay overnight again but we would probably visit the hot springs if given the opportunity.

This is a wonderful place to tent camp. Stayed overnight in a beautiful large treed site - with mountain views everywhere. We bought a day pass for the hot pools which includes showers. Washrooms have hot water in the sinks. Will definitely camp here again.

We really liked this resort - we stayed in a family suite cabin that was very spacious and had a great shower inside. The daily breakfast that came with the cabin was great and we all enjoyed the mineral pools that were included as well. Yes, you can hear the train at night, but it added to the charm. Will come back again for sure! As a side note, this resort is very close to the enchanted forest and giant cedar boardwalk and not far from Revelstoke either.
