Great beer, amazing atmosphere. Live music and fresh artisan food. This place won me over slowly. Now one of my favorites. Service could be quicker but the pints are worth the wait and they supply board games to play to occupy your time with friends and family. Bring your kids and let them play along with the local singer and enjoy a family night out with games and food included. Plus beers for parents.

I absolutely loved this place. It's one of the nicest places to go for a drink. The ambiance is excellent and they have many types of brews on tap including other cocktails. The staff is very personable and welcoming. Please visit here when in Revelstoke

We waited for quite some time before we were noticed. Fair share of items on the menu were not available. For some reason I felt that service is rather ignorant. I'm not sure why, i can only guess, it seemed like her friends were sitting at the other table and she liked sitting with them. She asked my friends for food order and ignored me. Twice. :) I asked to leave one menu - she didn't.When I ask for taster she brought me full glass I asked again for taster, she told me there are no tasters. I pointed that other waiter brought three different tasters to my neighbor by the table - she reluctantly brought me one. I liked it and got the drink. Food was rather average, poached salmon, that is really just a canned salmon from a tin :). To be fair that wasn't my first or second choice, however, as I mentioned quite a few menu items weren't available.

    Food - not there.
    Service - not there.
Dinks - those that are available are good. Some that were on our first choice list weren't available for good or for worse.

Summary - I'd recommend rather to avoid this place. There are way better places in town. May be it is a good place for locals, however if you aren't local - proceed with caution.

We headed into the Bierhaus without any expectations, as it looked quite quiet, and are pleased to report that it completely blew us away. It was pretty much our favourite dining experience out of a month of eating and drinking our way around BC and Alberta. Lovely terrace (they even had mosquito spray - they have truly thought of everything!), such helpful and friendly staff, phenomenal beers, great food generally, and most importantly out of this world mac n cheese. If you are lucky enough to be in Revy, get your ass down here to partake in as many delights as your tummy can handle. Amazing!

The food was good, and the beer selection was great. The service and the bar staff were not great. The servers were very dismissive of small tables. I had to ask a few times if I could sit on the patio (it is in the back and not in view). Once I found my own table, I sat there for a while and eventually had to ask for a menu for a second time. When I wanted my bill I could not find anyone so I went to the bar, passing a server on the way. I quickly asked if I could pay at the bar and she said sure. When I got to the bar he said to ask my server because "they don't know what to do". I wasn't the only small table that appeared to be frustrated with the service. Not a bad place, just better if you go with a group.

If you're not into craft dinner or a salad, you're leaving hungry. Service was poor at best, the bartender spent more time drinking than pouring and the waitress only came by twice. Once to take our orders, once to get paid.
I will say that the food wasn't bad. Not great, but not bad.
    I won't be back.

We were walking around town and had a hankering for beer. This place had an amazing beer selection so we went in for a cold one. After drinking a bit on an empty stomach we decided to gamble and try some food and decided on the mac and cheese. We asked for it to go, but the mac and cheese was so good we couldn't stop eating it and finished it instead. Sorry environment for the +1 take out container but this place is amazing. 11/10 would recommend / return as a customer

    Very
good food. Service slow for food some people might say, but you can tell it's made fresh and is absolutely delicious. Tried some cocktails and craft beer. Everything was so good and the staff were extremely accommodating

Great selection of beer with a constantly rotating menu. You will definitely get to try some beers that you've never had before. Good price for tasters, so you can try a good number of different beers when you go. Food is good as well, with an array of specialty Mac & cheese dishes.

Lots of different beer, and the menu changes all the time. Usually offers you a small taste if you ask. Not too loud and they have board games.
