Very nice place. We stoped there to see crazy creek. We spent about an hour walking over suspension bridge and viewing platforms. Got some refreshments and continue our long road trip.

Hot pools were very nice. Would not stay again as the train went by 9 times during the night blowing its whistle very loud. Woke us up every time. Maybe earplugs would have helped.

Woke up constantly because of trains blowing their whistle as they passed in the night. Constant noise. The RV sites are right between a train track and the trans canada hwy. Picnic table was rotten. Area felt like a gravel pit. Hot pools were lovely and clean. Staff was nice. Camping area was better. Would not RV there again, many more options in the area.

We just stayed one night. The room was just alright, the beds were not all that comfortable. I think we would have enjoyed our stay more if we had time to enjoy the pools and other attractions.

The suites are very comfortable and the local scenery is beautiful. When you're done with the hike up to the falls, you can come back and soak in the hot tubs before calling it a night. It was a great way to break up a long drive.

We stopped in at a slow time (5:00PM on a weekday) and had a lovely leisurely stroll around the creek. The bridge and viewing platforms are well maintained and offer spectacular views of this natural wonder. The hiking trail is not yet complete, but still worth a try as it provides an amazing view of the river below. I'm looking forward to seeing what developments are made in the future.
As a note for potential campers, we noticed that the campground is dry and saw a few notices stating that staff would search campers' bags for alcohol. Because I would find this invasive, and also enjoy a tipple, I would not consider camping here.response / report this review -

Yesterday evening, we were quite disappointed to learn from a sign stuck on the store door, after committing & paying to camp here for four nights, that the hot pools (not a spring) were undergoing emergency repairs. I appreciate that this can happen, but there is not much to do here but visit the hot pools. We were also not able to speak to a clerk as we would have preferred a refund and just move on.
Then at 12.30pm today, we arrived today to find the store and pools still closed with the same sign up. We finally found a worker, who could not tell us when the pools would open again or much more. He seemed to be flustered by our questions.
Nonetheless, armed with our carefully preserved green arm bands showing that we had paid for use of the pools & to visit the suspension bridge, we decided to do the suspension bridge & waterfall walk, only to find the gate padlocked. We eventually found the same workman who, despite our armbands, asked for a receipt, showing we had paid for this excursion! Thankfully he did insist, but checked our file, and away we went to the suspension bridge & waterfall. This is quite spectacular.
Some other things that make this not the most desirable campsite are: the power went off four times in the first two nights, for long stretches, which leaves the washrooms dark and the showers not functioning; the train runs close by about ten times a day, each sounding their horn for a long stretch (which is probably necessary, but still annoying); the washrooms are very average with just one stall and shower for quite a number of campsites (perhaps there are others); the national road is less than a hundred meters away, and it is noisy, all day & all night; and finally, at $47 a night (or less), we have experienced much better.
All in all, we will probably not return, nor would we recommend Crazy Creek! Sorry guys, you can do better.response / report this review -

Felt it was a quite a bit overpriced for what you get. We booked one of the suites with kitchen. The pictures were deceiving as they made the place look much bigger then it actually was. The scenery was beautiful being surround by mountains but felt like the placement of the cabins (mobile home) were not great as it was right beside the busy highway and connected by a dirt road. There was also RV trailers parked right close to our place which didn't provide much privacy. However the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hot pools were great.

The staff were amazing, the room was nice, and the hot pools were the perfect temperature. The only downsides were that there is no designated turn off off of the highway and the hot pools closed at 8:45 and didn't open again until 11:00. I would have loved to soak longer and get in a soak before checkout. Overall it was very nice though and I would definitely go again.

Although we didn't stay, I wish we could have! The front desk staff was so full of smiles! We did the walk and were so fascinated with the amazing work that had been done. The bridge and stair paths were just awesome. The view. OMG THE VIEW!!! i
