Excellent location with beautiful scenery. The staff was friendly and professional but the food was not inspiring.

Wheelchair accessible. As tourists, we are repeat customers. The food is excellent. The staff are friendly and professional. We met friends here during our last visit so two tables were set together. Our meals were presented in a timely manner, fresh, hot and delicious. Our waitress was great. The place is clean and decorated with local talent art work.

The patio on the water is incredible! On a sunny day this is the place to be. Service was friendly and food was good quality. Sit back on the patio and have some drinks. It's worth it!

Super fantastic delicious crab cake Benedict! The view, being out on the water, is spectacular as well. Service was thorough, fast, friendly, and deserves a compliment.

Gorgeous views. Fantastic food. Amazing and friendly staff. Beautiful place to walk to. Easy to find parking. This place is simply wonderful, and I will always come here when in Nanaimo! Highly recommend!

Great views on the water, decent service. I had the hot pot (yummy!) with fresh crusty bread. The others in my group had the salmon entree, fried halibut, and tacos, and everyone enjoyed their meals. Only a few beers on tap, though.

Amazing food, view and atmosphere. Service is top notch. I always make a point to stop in for the Curry muscles when in town. Don't miss out on the scallops either. Their a must 😍

Lighthouse Bistro & Pub is a wonderful upscale place to stop for lunch or dinner on the harbourfront walkway. The outdoor patio overlooking Nanaimo Harbour is a summertime downtown treasure, with an added and unexpected bonus of watching your chefs prepare your meal right at the patio grill and kitchen talk about awesome workplaces! The staff are wonderful, friendly and efficient. For lunch we started with Salt Spring Island Mussels in a white wine sauce, which was divine. We then had Tuna Tataki fish tacos which were refreshing and yummy. We also went for dinner one evening in the indoor bistro and it was awesome. We had Mussels as well as Oysters on the half shell (a special of the day) and both were superb. I've never had such succulent and tender oysters before. We had the Bouillabaisse and special entrée, Lobster fettuccine, both were amazing. I highly recommend this fine dining establishment.

On a quiet Friday afternoon in December.
We had lunch with visiting family on the day before Christmas Eve. We ordered the gluten free soup, the sirloin burger, and the fish and chips. All food was all very good, burgers were real ground beef and not frozen patties. Reasonably priced and a great view of the harbour.response / report this review
